My nail tech was nice. I feel as if the tools were not super clean, they keep them in a draw. My normal nail salon up the road is closed on Sundays, and i desperately needed my nails done as they had major breaks about half way down the nail since they were naturally very long. I typically always get regular gel and if there is a break they use glue, then sometimes a little gel overlay to fill the crack and i mean a tiny tiny amount. I was pressured into getting something i did not want and watched them do it to the person next to me as well. They made me get a “full set” “gel overlay”. I told them i do not want acrylic, i do want my natural nail and only gel polish on top of it. If you can’t understand that there should be some system to point to exactly what you want. I also booked online for a gel manicure only. She explained she would gel overlay the cracks which i thought meant just the few nails that had breaks. Nope, she went fully in and gel overlayed every nail to where they are thick, bulbous, and completely not my nails shape. She tells me my nails are going to burn when putting them in with the gel overlay, and man, did they burn alright! Is that normal for a nail to burn when getting them done? Has never happened before. My nails are still currently burning, they hurt because of how thick they are that there’s so much pressure on them and now my natural beautiful nail is going to be ruined with this acrylic type nail i now have thanks to LZ mail. I have attached pictures of my nails (with one that had previously broke) when they were done by a different nail salon, when i had them with no polish after LZ took off the polish and then after LZ had completed my non agreed “set” (the black nails). Oh, and all this cost my $100 when i had booked to pay $35 for a gel. I got pressured into paying & tipping even when they asked if i liked them and i said no. I truly want my money back especially since now my natural nails are going to be damaged. I have to go to my normal salon tomorrow to get these removed and pay for it. Gel overlay and acrylic are the same exact thing, don’t let them try to fool you.

UPDATE: My nails are still in pain, and burning. The response from owner is incorrect. I was forced to tip when paying. “YOU HAVE CASH TIP!?!” the woman who did my nail still deserves a tip as she completed a service, she doesn’t deserve to take the hit from it, the COMPANY should. I also was never informed the nail polish i chose was $10 extra until this response from owner. She asked if I liked my nails and I said no, they’re very thick AND not what I wanted. My natural nails are now destroyed from the gel overlay. I did not agree to this. The only correct information is that I chose the color of polish. The solution here is to refund me for something I didn’t want, as I now have to pay to get my nails removed by a professional. I would NOT go back to the place that destroyed my nails so suggesting that is ludicrous. If the solution i wanted which was a refund I wouldnt have even written a review and just not come back, but unfortunately the merchant could not agree to this.

This was my first time here and I’ll definitely be back! I showed a picture of a design I was looking for and they were extremely helpful picking the colors and ensuring the design came out as I wanted. Can’t wait for my next manicure!

I have been here several times and have never been disappointed, so I would just take whatever tech was available. Today, I had JoJo and she did an exceptional pedicure and UV Gel manicure. She will be my go-to tech from here on out. I am beyond satisfied with her work.

I have never had less than fantastic service here and I constantly get compliments on my nails from my friends and coworkers. But what really pushed me to review is my most recent manicure. Last week I had to get surgery on my wrist. I was very worried about being in pain during my manicure as it is hard to maneuver my hand around much. However, my worries were for nothing. Sarah did a fantastic job and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. And, despite my lack of movement, she was still able to get my nails looking great as usual. I will continue to recommend LZ Salon to everyone!

I love getting my nails done here. Owen does a great job with the nail designs I show him. The salon is super clean and everyone is very friendly.
