I have been going here for both manicures and pedicures for a little over 4 months now and I love it. I have been with many nail techs and have never had a problem. Accept walk ins, and even with appointments I’ve had every tech has been punctual. Added 2 photos below of Kathy’s free hand work, she is absolutely amazing 💖

I went to LV nails in Howell 5/16/24 Kelly did a refill for me. I got French – gel with two designs and left really happy with how they turned out!! It wasn’t even 2/3 hours later when I noticed they were a like dark yellow /brown tint. I was a bit annoyed but figured whatever. The next morning I woke up they were so gross looking! So I had work and called in the morning to see if I can get them fixed – because after spending $60 within one day having them and they turned colors and looked gross. I explained why I was going into the receptionist and she said it’s OK. Kelly will fix them at 6pm today (when I could get in after work). I go there and Kelly was like oh your back for new color? Thinking I was going to just get them fixed as I was told when I made my appointment . No. She assumed I was repaying AGAIN… I asked her why it happened because I’ve never had French change colors within that same day having them done or I’d never do French!! She was talking to Nina (owners gf) for a bit then just assumed I tanned, dyed my hair, was dirty? Said look at your hands… I was like belittled when I just went there to get them fixed. If it was my doings I would never go an expect someone to fix my own mess up. I’m as white as Casper and don’t tan bc it’s harmful. I washed my hands so many times trying to get the brown color off my tips. I don’t dye my hair- my hair is literally falling out and I can’t touch my hair or have it done for a long while! Within the 3 hours they assumed I did all that after talking I’m sure so negatively about me in their language after what Kelly has assumed I did. So I spent $60 and she took acetone to “quickly fix” the problem but I made it home (30 min) drive and they are back to the same darn color!!!! I’m baffled. I spent my hard earned money to be talked about like I was scum for them not doing something right or expired polish or something clearly!!!!
The owner should be ashamed , he listens and I’m sure he saw me back twice within two days I’m sure he heard us talking and her belittling and treating paying customers who tipped well like trash.

I could cry. I have plans this weekend and I have to figure out how to cover my nails now!!

I go to get nails fixed that they clearly messed up and they made me waste my gas, time and didn’t actually fix the problem.

0 stars would be better.

Ryan, do better by having decent people working there. So disappointing for a client to experience this.

(The first two pictures was when I got them done 5/16/24 the next three pictures were the next morning at work less than 24 hours, following two pics was at the shop right before Kelly “fixed the problem” and the last two pics were after she fixed the problem 5/17…..clearly they are just as bad if not worse).

Please don’t waste your hard earned money to be treated like your a piece of crap and then them not even FIX the problem.

(I just added two other reviews on Kelly) I didn’t even read many comments but clearly others have had bad experiences with her also.

Note, I’m assuming the gel wasn’t cured right from what I read online which is the reason of the change of color

I’m crying as I’m writing this!!! I got my nails done here today, filing to be exact ! I walked in with beautiful nails walked out with nails that look like my 10 year old daughter did !! i told the nail tech I don’t like it that it was too thick, uneven, bumpy all the things nails should not be !!! she reply with that’s how your nail is !!! she did not take no accountability!!!! even the girl in front desk agreed that it was horrible !!! and so did everyone else who was getting there nails done !!! however nail tech or the salon did not do anything to fix the situa-tion!!! my cousins wedding is tomorrow and I have the worse looking nails I ever seen in my entire life !!! no I am not being dramatic !!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!

if i could give 0 stars i would. if you are looking for a salon that can do simple designs do not go here. tried to show ryan, the tech that was doing my nails and also the owner at this establishment, what i wanted and since he seemed in a rush from the beginning, he barely looked resulting in nails that did not look like the picture. during the service, I mentioned to ryan that in the picture i showed him there are five lines and he only did three on my nails. he claimed it was because my nails were too short, and the French was not wide enough. I asked him why he didn’t make the French wider, but he did not respond. I don’t know why he took it upon himself, later, claiming that “the French doesn’t look good wide, and he used his own judgment” instead of the picture of what i wanted. who is he to decide that he was not going to give me (a paying customer) what i wanted on my nails and change it up?

separately from that he was very rude to his receptionist at the front desk while I was getting my nails done, the receptionist who seemed very young, maybe 16, was doing her best with 2 people in line and 2 phone calls on hold.

at the end of my service after paying $70 for nails that did not look like the picture I realized that my right thumb was smudged so I went back in to have that fixed as these nails are for a trip and were important to me. Ryan told me it was my fault they were smudged and claimed to have “fixed” the nail. Had to go back a second time to get that same nail fixed because it was not fixed originally and looked the exact same. after going back a second time still was not done properly and there is still a smudge. i also left with nail polish on my skin around my nails on 5 nails.

after leaving, I realized that the nails really don’t look like the picture I tried to show him being that they were rushed through and i called the nail salon.
i spoke to ryan who was very nasty as soon as he answered the phone. didn’t allow me to explain the reason for my call because he cut me off and said “YOU need to listen to ME” and explained he didn’t do my nails based off the picture because they were “too short” and after asking him if it was possible to fix my nails to make them look like the picture or take them off and issue me a refund he responded saying, “this is how you repay me after i fit you into my busy schedule”. i am a paying customer who fit him into MY busy schedule.

he will try to turn this around like he does every single other review and not take responsibility for his own actions and how he handles simple situations but there is a reason every bad review has to do with this establishment treating customers terribly. He alone is ruining his “small business”.

Ryan needs to work on his customer service skills, productive communication, and learn how to fix situations that paying customers bring to him with patience and customer service instead of like the aggressive man-child he just was to me. if he can’t handle doing simple designs then when the customer shows them to him he should simply say he’s unable to do it and if he doesn’t have the time to do a fill with designs then he shouldn’t try to squeeze people in to try to make a little extra money and leave a customer with rushed work on their nails and a very bad experience. save your time and money and go to Michael at Art Pro Nails in Jackson.
