Big huge fan of LV Nails for over 10 years or longer but since they closed from chapel hill mall and reopened next to a+ crab my daughter and I have not been pleased with our nails. Unfortunately this past weekend will definitely be the last time either one of us patron their services for such horrible work. I always get pedicures but this time I got a pedicure and manicure . Mind you I told my tech I only wanted to spend the 55 on my pedi and 25 on my mani . Of course she says yes no problem as she scraping every layer of skin off my feet smh but after my pedicure we go over to start on my nails and I tell her I wanted a simple French tip polish overlay with my regular nails clipped down and shaped . No biggie for a trained and experienced nail tech ???? NO not really ….. This tech had to keep removing the polish to try again and again and again / she did this on 3 different fingers . Finally after about half an hour goes by she yells for help to the owner since she couldn’t do my French tips properly or at all ?????!!!!! . The lady manger comes over and says she can do it then starts talking extremely loud saying why u get this , why u don’t just get gel polish like your toes , u waste money gettin this . Now that everyone in the shop is staring at us. I tell her I didn’t want that color on my hands because I wanted a specific look and didn’t care if it doesn’t last . I understand the difference between basic nail polish and gel polish outcomes and keep ups . After going back and forth with her for dam near 5 minutes the tech says she’ll jus charge me the same to do gel polish so it’ll be 81$ total (for pedi and mani set ) . So I’m so confused gel what ? White Gel polish for the french tip look or gel polish like my toes that wanted to do because it was easiest. I asked the tech what would be easier for her because I’m irritated af and ready to go since it’s been almost 4 hours . Finally get the gel painted like my toes so we can leave and she messes up a thumb with imprint and just paints on top of the imprint instead of taking it off and redoing the whole nail. At this point IDGAF , jus get me outta here ASAP. Finally done go to check out and my total comes to 99DOLLARS. NEVER AGAIN AND I RECOMMEND YOU GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TOO. Highly disappointed , dissatisfied and pissed . Oh yeah and two of my finger nails chipped already with the gel paint it’s only been a couple days

I have been going to LV nails for years and have always had good service. I took my daughter to the new location for pedis for her birthday. The shop is beautiful but the women who did our pedis were not at the old location. We got the deluxe pedis. Which usually come with soaking for a short time and the towel wrap for a time. Our pedis were very rushed. The worst part was they talked to each other the whole time. They talked trash about other employees, and how bad it was to work there. They talked about customers and even made fun of other customers that were in the shop waiting to get pedis. My daughter got a french tip and her big toes were half painted. They were cussing while they talked like we weren’t even there. I was so embarrassed and apologized to my daughter for such a bad experience. We wont go be going back.

I have been going to LV Nails off and on for about eight years when it was located at Chapel Hill Mall. Tina took over and moved to Howe Ave. She is nice and personable. Does a good job on my pedicures. Now I see Sandy does a good job and very nice. I don’t understand Asian Americans who think they can be rude such as the old guy that helps out. He really should stay home since he has an issue with treating people with respect and WE are paying for a service. I would have given five stars.

Two of my nails fell off after a few days. I went back they refused to fix. They wanted me to pay full price. Very unprofessional, rude, and prices are too high.

They just opened a new store it was so clean and nice .I had a deluxe pedicure and my girl was the sweetest lady of all her name is Ya Ya she took her time with me .I had foot surgery a couple months ago and you have to be extra tender with that foot . She s is the Best nail person that I have ever had in my life.!!
