Proper base coats and top coats were not applied.
Definitely a waste of money.
Not the worst, but not the best either. I called before-hand and they were able to get me right in, which was great. I also appreciate that I wasn’t pushed and continually asked to get shellac or dip on my hands, which is hard to find a salon that won’t harass you with that. (I’ve done dip for years and just want to let my natural nails get strong and healthy from all the damage that caused)
BUT, the main reason I got the manicure was for my cuticles because I am not able to cut them correctly on my own. Sophia was kind and made my nails as even as possible but she hardly cut my cuticles. I noticed it of course after my nails were polished and it was too late for her to do anything without taking the polish off. I also don’t prefer the order she did the manicure in.. she put all the lotion on my hands and arms and then had me wash it all off🤦🏻♀️I should have washed them after filing, etc. Then the massage w/ lotion avoiding the nails/cuticles and then she should have taken alcohol and wiped each nail before painting them.. that way the moisture would have stayed on the rest of my hands.
So, again.. not the best, but not the worst. Not sure if I’ll try them again.
There was acrylic residue left all over my fingers as well as large lumpy acrylic left across my nail beds. Not the service you should be getting from any nail salon.
