What I thought I was getting was Gel nail but I guess what my friends tell me isn’t accurate. So once my real nails were being cut off I started to question . Was told I schedule Gel dip and I was like yes, not knowing that meant my real nails gone and fake nail applied with glue and then dipped in powders.
After cancer my nails haven’t been the same and seeing so many with short, pretty and not chipping I decided I would treat myself. Plus didn’t really want to be around heavy chemicals nor have them on my body. Well that went out the door.
Does my nails look nice? Yes, but so unnatural. They sound like plastic whenever I touch anything. Is funny though how I feel more feminine and want to show my rings off more.
Did do their detox pedicure which that lady was so nice and did a great job. She ad least tried to have a conversation with me unlike the nail tech just asked what I wanted and then spoke in her language over an hour to her staff member. They were laughing and to me very unprofessional. To build a relationship with your customer I would think would be top priority 🤷🏼♀️.
The place was large and seemed clean but never saw the nail tech clean any tools from drill bits, cuticle cutter, fillers, brushes. Also the dip powder you are nipping after each customer so be cautious of that.
