Normally every time I go here they do a pretty decent job but this one lady in particular did not do good at all. She was very nice but did not do a good job on my nails. About 3-4 days later I find that the chrome and paint are already coming off then two of the acrylics came off! I would recommend going here but just be careful of which person you get to do your nails.

I have returned several times, consistently every few weeks, to have my nails done since my last review. Those experiences were pretty good, although I noticed that not every person had the same quality of work.. still nothing worth complaining about. Today I went in just to have my powder dip removed because they are getting in the way of my fishing! And I have to say it definitely wasn’t the same experience. There were about 4-5 people in front of my ticket, after about 20 mins those people were all called back, as well as every person who came in after that until I sat waiting for 45 mins. Then I’m called to a booth, where I sit for another 25 mins before someone starts soaking my nails off and also was questioned about why I wasn’t having my nails done again and did I have them done there in the first place. After 25 mins of sitting there soaking in acetone, and ONLY because 2 of my fingers were badly burning, I asked a man walking by if he knew how much longer I would have to soak for. After about 5 mins another man comes over and slightly irritatedly starts taking off the foils from my fingers. After he removed all of the residual dip he told me to go wash my hands so I did. Now, at this point my nails are sharp and jagged as hell and uneven all over so after I wash them I sit back down because I assumed it’s an automatic that they would be filed down. I don’t expect a manicure, but I don’t expect to be sent out with nails so sharp they would literally cut someone! After I sit back down I was asked with a little more irritation what I still needed so I asked if they could at least file away the sharpness! I was treated like such a burden and it was a completely different experience. I truly believe it was solely because I wasn’t spending more money to get nails redone. I had all intentions of returning after summer to continue my nails but I will not be returning to Lux Nails for this or any other service again.

I had a great experience with Bella! She was really sweet and welcoming, paid attention to detail, asked me several times if I was happy throughout the process, and didn’t mind helping me pick colors for the dip to match the example photo. I am very satisfied and will be returning in a few weeks!

Beautiful decor with very clean and organized stations, lots of staff, always busy but they know their job and are able to move you in and out with or without an appt. Spring manicure with dusty rose and pedicure with periwinkle polishes. In and out in just over an hour. Fun time with friends.

I got my nails done there about 3 weeks ago I liked them at the time but it had been so long since I got my nails done I didn’t really notice it until after I had left I will never return to luxe nails they did a horrible job on my nails they were way way too thick. I will not return to them at all. I got my nails done at Z nails and they were done right and they’re not as thick they are the way I want them go see Kevin at Z nails 🤭

I have been to Lux a gazillion times but not in probably a year. I used to get dip and they only did 2 coats and it doesn’t last. They break and I’m back again in 1.5-2 weeks. I went yesterday because I did not have time to go to Ann Arbor. They squeezed me in. They were quick. My nails were filed a little thin but ok. By last night, my polish was bubbling and peeling off of my nails. $60 with tip. I had to go to another salon today and pay another $30 to have them fixed and basically they redid the fill also. Because once again, Lux doesn’t use enough product and they don’t last or wear well. Super disappointed. Bums me out because it’s close and they’re fast and I do think the staff are all super nice.
