I am so disappointed in this place. It used to be my go to but the quality of service is terrible now.

I got a gel polish pedicure the other day & the next day the polish was bubbling on my big toe. When I went to go get it fixed the lady was dismissive, talking about me to her colleagues AND put the completely wrong color on my toe. So I went back in and she was dismissive again. I just walked out and went somewhere else to get my toes done all over again.

I will never go here again after they handled this situation.

EDIT: went to get a color change at another salon and they informed me of how bad of a pedicure I had. So basically I paid $50 + tip for a botched job at Lux. Don’t go here.

Lily provided my manicure and pedicure service. She was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout the service. However, I would NOT recommend this nail place.

I received a manicure and pedicure on Thursday 6/1/23. By 6/2/23 my nail polish began to chip after one day with no extreme manual labor. (See pics)

I stopped in today to show Lily and the staff my manicure, and they told me a regular manicure only lasts a day or two. She clearly thought I was Boo Boo the Fool!

I could understand if I was using my hands for hard labor and had done something that would damage or chip the polish. But, that was not the case.

A good manicure from an experienced nail tech should last about a week. I attribute it to the quality and cheapness of the nail products they use.

For more than a decade, I managed several luxury spas and salons in NYC. My standards for cleanliness, quality and customer service are higher than most. But, I went because someone recommended Lily.

I also had to ask and pay for tub liners for my pedicure. They do not offer them, which is normally standard for sanitary reasons. Just another sad case of people cutting corners and lowering standards bc the community they serve will stand for it. Needless to say, I will NOT be going back.

I got matte polish on my nails for the first time on 9/13, i went home that evening and my nails bubbled up, started peeling within the hour of leaving the salon. I got them redone 9/14 and again that day the paint coat you can see through and started to Chip and peel. I have NEVER experienced this with my nails ever. I called today 9/15 and at this point in frustrated that I now have to get my nails done a 3rd time in 3 days. The man I spoke to who claims he’s the owner states that they have to see my nails and that they’ll fix it for free. (It’s not free, I paid for them the first time, it’s not doing me any service by having to drive 30min again 3 days in a row to get the SAME THING done again in hopes that this time it’ll last ATLEAST 24 hours) then I ask for a different tech to do my nails and he tells me if someone else does them that I’ll have to pay . This is terrible customer service, the woman that did my nails stated that she didn’t know that they needed to dry to matte top coats so that shows she doesn’t have much experience in it especially if I have to go back a 3 time, you should allow someone else perhaps your best tech to redo my nails and even throw in a design or a free wax or something for the inconvenience. Not say “I’ll fix it for free” , no if it was done properly the first time that I PAID for than we wouldn’t even have this issue. I am not going back to get them redone a 3rd time “for free” I’d rather pay and have them done somewhere else.

I had my waxing done on Sunday( April 28).
When I am in the spa, it was little painful, but I did not see any issue.The next day I noticed the skin was all peeled off.I wouldn’t recommend this spa for waxing
