I have been a loyal customer for about 3 years. I always get a pedicure. This place has dramatically gone downhill. My last 2 of 3 experiences were terrible and painful! Today, I went for a pedicure to give them another try, and I had the most painful pedicure I have had. The lady worked on an ingrown nail for 10 minutes. From the start, I was flinching from the pain. She laughed and said it was ok and kept digging for the ingrown nail I didn’t even know I had! I was bleeding, and raw skin was exposed. After she cut out a big side of my toe nail, she said see don’t you feel better.” I said I was never in pain to begin with and didn’t ask for that to be done.
Few concerns here, I had open raw bleeding skin that was then on the tools , and my toe was then exposed to germs and fungus as it was an open wound. The pedicure I paid for was the deluxe pearl. Which i was given little to no massage. Which is the best part! Usually.
I left very disappointed. Not only was my toe throbing through most of it, but I wasn’t able to relax and enjoy any moment of it. I wanted to walk out so badly. Since I was bleeding, the gel nail polish didn’t stick to my nail.
Multiple times during the pedicure, she would leave me at the chair to go to another desk to text or call someone. I would be left for 5 min just waiting for her to start the next step.
I am truly concerned about my toe. I will never visit here again. Which is a bummer cause it used to be the spot!

Went for a pedicure. The woman was hurting me, and when I told her what she was doing was painful, she didn’t listen and just kept going. I had to very forcefully tell her to stop and that I didn’t want to continue the pedicure. I was bleeding a lot. She never apologized and kept insisting it just “happens sometimes”. Now it hurts to put weight on it.

The lady who did my nails was a little older with short hair, I did not catch her name. I paid a total of $102.98 for these nails. I don’t mind paying $102 for nails if they’re pretty. When I came in I asked for a French tip and a pedicure. As you can see the pedicure is not good all it was was nail polish and not even my full toenail is painted. I let her know that I was going to Vegas so she said she would do a design and add some gems on my nail. I did not mind paying for that. But the shape and design came out horrible ans the flower gems fell off In literally 1hr. I guess this was karma for cheating on my usual nail tech. I was issued a partial refund of $45 after only for shape and design not for anything else. The owner/manager was not in and could not see the full extent of how bad these nails were. I also asked for long nails and she said she had to do them short….. I visited this place when it first opened and the nails that were done here were beautiful. I really hope no one else has this experience.

I recently moved up north and have been to so many nail salons. Lunar was recommended by a few friends for Gel X Nghi and her brother, D maybe? They are so talented and my nails last for sooo long!! This is the place to go!! But call and make an appointment to ensure you get one of them.

This place is seriously amazing! the environment is so cute and clean and overall, beautiful! the employees always make sure you feel welcome and get the job done quick. This is the best nail salon in boulder. If you’re looking to get top quality nails come here! Also, if you want a super cool design on your nails jenny is AMAZING. love this place, i’ll only be coming here from now on
