Came in distraught because I was sad my nail salon closed, so I came in hoping to meet my expectations. It did not. The girl who did my name was sweet, quiet but sweet. At the end of the service, I was drying my toes and left because I got tired of waiting without being told why I was waiting. Hours later I woke up from my nap and nails are ruined. Love the service but cheap quality polishes.

I lovveee this nail salon. It’s the only one I’ll go to in Bed Stuy. They only do natural nails (gel and regular polish, no acrylic or extensions), but that’s works out great for me. Super clean, friendly, and reasonably priced! They also have always tried their best (and done a great job!) when I’ve given them new designs to try. I keep coming back!

This place is highly overpriced for meh services. My first visit was fantastic every visit after that the quality of work seemed to decline. I paid $100+ per visit not including my tip for gel manicure and regular pedicure. On my final visit the tech, put thick layers of gel polish on my nails and skipped steps. I always pay for the callous remover and foot massage and I found my feet were still rough and dry. I went to a different shop and now my feet are visiblely and physically softer and she didn’t charge an extra fee.

I’ve been coming here for the last 2 years and unfortunately feel like the service has gone down hill. It’s really hit or miss depending on who you get (Sonny is one of the best – so recommend requesting her). I came in yesterday for a pedicure and manicure and felt rushed the entire time. My nails weren’t soaked for my manicure, the lengths and shapes were inconsistent, and I had to request another layer of polish for my toes because you could see through the color. They told me it would be an additional $10 if I wanted to change the color. There’s often times a wait even if you make an appointment. I’d love to stay loyal to Luna Nails but sadly I need to find a new place to get the results I’m looking for.
