I’ll start off by saying I think my hairdresser was having a bad day. She’s the most senior stylist with a lot of experience, and I was recommended to her by two of my friends, so I know she is very good at her job I just was very unlucky to have had my appointment with her that day. The Salon called me and asked me to come a little later because she was still with her first client and reassured me that I will get the full-time of my appointment when I came in. Christine was very frustrated at the fact that I had henna in my hair, I understand that Henna can make the results unpredictable however I’ve gotten it done quite a few times before and I told her that my main concern is getting the proper highlight placement more than the color. She still complained for a good 20 minutes and made me sign a paper that said the results aren’t guaranteed, which again thats fine I wanted the bleaching done a certain way. I was taken a little back by the fact that I was charged extra for toner. Now normally when you go for a balayage that is included in the service, however toner was a separate $35 charge from the $185 balyage. When she started on my hair, I could tell that she was very rushed because she was also working on somebody else’s hair at the same time as well and when the time came to finish off, she had her next appointment walk-in, and somebody else had to finish off on my hair so I didn’t get the full time of my appointment. The first picture is taken right outside the salon, and I was not happy with what I got. You could hardly see that I got a balayage. The second picture is after two washes, the toner that I was charged extra for barely stayed on, and you can see how thick my highlights are, which was the exact opposite of what I wanted. I wanted very blended highlights, and considering I paid almost 200 bucks for that I didn’t even get what I wanted.

I called the salon again and they offered me to fix it complementary. However, they also mentioned that Christine will be double booked because that’s how she usually takes a client and I won’t get the full-time with her again. Hearing that, I was not comfortable going back to someone who won’t give me their full attention especially when I’m coming back for a fix. I ended up going to someone else , who gave me what I wanted at a lower price (third picture) The salon also did not try to compensate me with salon credits of product purchases.

Like I mentioned before, I’ve seen my friends gotten hair done from her before, she’s very experienced, I just went on a bad day for her.

My first experience at Lucky Hair Co. was when I got my hair styled for my bridal shower. I was so impressed with result! Years later, I came back in search of a stylist that specialized in vivid color work. I was paired with Alicia, and she’s been my stylist ever since. Alicia is so creative and talented! She listens to and welcomes my ideas, and she always exceeds my expectations. Whenever I go to Lucky Hair Co., I feel welcomed and relaxed. I’m always offered a beverage, and every staff member I’ve interacted with has been friendly. I will continue to go to this salon and I recommend it to everyone! If you’re looking for vivid color work, Alicia is your girl!

Hannah did a beautiful and amazing job with my hair. It was so damaged and needed a correction because of a mistake another hair stylist made from another salon. She went above & beyond and my hair ended up being so shiny and healthy I was shocked it was my hair. Completely unrecognizable!! I’m recommending everyone to see Hannah and come to this beautiful and friendly salon because her techniques, knowledge and attention to detail does not compare to anyone else and is so easy and friendly to talk to. Plus the salon’s products have the best prices, better than what you can find at an Ulta. 10/10 recommend this place!

Best salon I’ve been to super happy I found it you can tell they care about the clients they have and everytime I go I have a really good experience and my hair comes out exactly like I want it to. Their very diverse and work on all hair types which is nice because I have curly hair and the stylist I see is Hannah and she really is amazing at her job you can tell she cares which I love. I also got to meet the owner and she was very nice she was helping out the girls and was also helping with the cleaning and you can just tell she cares about her clients, staff and the salon.

Hannah is such an amazing hair stylist!! She makes my hair turn out beyond perfect every time!! (photo for reference 🙌🏼😍) Can’t wait to go back again!
