***6/3/24 update: I went for a fill and the male technician helped me today. He is very kind, funny and attentive (next time I will ask his name). He explained every step he was taking and discussed cost before he did. He knew my name and every customer who came in. My appointment was at 9:30 AM and it was so calm and peaceful. My nails are beautiful and I feel so pretty. Going to book an appointment for my girls because I know they will want their nails done too. I went with the standard French tip but my nails are way above standard. I also wanted to add that while my first visit was a different experience, my nails held up no matter what I put them through so that speaks to the quality of their work and why I went back. It takes a lot to earn my trust and I think I may have finally found my go-to nail salon.

Initial review (5/13/24):
We got off to a rocky start but I’m happy to say that things have worked out in the end for the most part. My first time here was okay and I had to leave to pick up my daughter so I didn’t really notice a few things until later at work that made me unhappy. Lisa reached out to me and asked me to come back where she mostly fixed the things I was unhappy with. My nails have held up and I have gotten compliments. I look forward to come back and will bring my daughters with me if I consistently have good experiences. I can’t vouch for the other technicians other than Lisa and the male technician whose work looked solid.

I went in with my friends but just got my nails cleaned up, no color at all and they didn’t even do a good job on the basic cleaning up of my cuticles. I still have very visible cuticles and a couple hang nails left over. It’s sad when all these nail salons are concerned with is how much can they use their machine to drill your nail down and put color on you to send you away. Don’t go here if your looking for basic care of your nails.

This place is by far one of the best nail salons I have ever been to. They are so attentive to their clients. You are greeted by name even on your first visit. The ability to book online is such a bonus. They even reach out if your technician is unavailable to make sure that you get who you want. I would recommend them always.

Ms. Kim did an amazing job with my nails!!! Definitely will be going to her again. The whole staff was super friendly and my mother and sisters also had a great experience!

I scheduled an appointment via Google. For an express Manicure, just cleaning up my nails and a simple polish. They didn’t have any idea of my appointment when I got there so don’t bother scheduling via Google.
I waited for someone to be available. I don’t mind waiting.
The water they gave me to soak my hands was cold.
I told her I wanted a tiny bit shorted and they ended up being below my skin. I posed a picture for reference. My before nails looked so much better. I was pretty upset and how my nail tech lacked attention to me and I don’t ever want to come back.
The final product was jagged short nails with nail shavings left underneath my nail beds.. it was not a good experience for me. Maybe other nail technicians are better but not mine. I didn’t know her name.

The manager/owner maybe offered me to wait so she could fix them and not to pay for the service.
Honestly, it’s not about the money. I still left $10 because I wanted to make that clear.
It was the lack of attention to me and my nails by the technician.
San Jose has plenty of other nail salons that will do better jobs.
I won’t come back here.
