Spring has finally sprung in Ames, and since the temperatures are getting warmer, I felt like I wanted to use bright colors for my manicure design this month. Last month Le tried a marbelized design I really liked that also garnered many compliments for her towards me from complete strangers while I’d be out and about, so I asked her if, since she really only had an hour to spare for my appointment (they are very busy so be sure to call a few days in advance if you can), would she have time to do that design again? She was well pleased, but said she was going to change it up a bit. As you can see from the photos below, it is a marble design which allows the customer to select 2-3 colors of choice along with white, which Le then swirls into a marbelized pattern. To break it up a little, and to add a hint of spring, I asked her to put some little flowers on my ring finger. Since I like rainbow colors, I had her add some rainbow sparkle topcoat to finish it off; I am not sure if that is visible from the photos, but it does look very pretty. As usual, Le has done a lovely job. I believe I like this design even more than the previous one. I am not sure if my previews pics and review are saved so readers can look at them. Le’s husband Andrew does my pedicure and did the same design on my big toes the last time, alternating the blue and green colors on the other toes. Thus time, he and I discussed which of the three colors should be the dominant color for my big toe. We chose the purple. He then used the orange and pink tones to paint a comet design on my big toes, using the purple on all my other toes. My feet look terrific! I am now ready to break out my flip flops, sandals, and slides! Both Le and Andrew are wonderful; you can’t go wrong at Le’s Nail Salon next to Taco John’s on Lincolnway in Ames.😀

WOW! The quality of work and of service is incredible. I had a place in Ames that was my go to, but this is my new favorite nail salon. The prices are great, they make sure everything is to your liking, and they are so kind. I really enjoyed being at Le’s and I will be going back always!!

Sara did such a great job on my daughter’s nails! It was EXACTLY what she wanted and she said she really enjoyed their time together. HIGHLY recommend!
