My daughter has rehearsals and her hair gotta be in two ponytails. So I took my 9 year old here.
I told them just to do rulos and asked how much. The hairdresser said $40 and some other lady said ” cause for the blow dryer after”. I tried to explain that she doesn’t need the blow dryer. And they just kept pushing for it. So I agreed to do a light blow dry after the rulos.
So I leave to get my kid some food. When I come back this lady is blow drying her hair instead! I think the hairdresser was being lazy and thought I wouldn’t care.
When I asked to speak with the owner, some lady said she was the owner(I’m pretty sure she was lying)
She said they made a mistake but are still going to charge me $40. I was upset and she said “well if you don’t want to pay I’m going to WET her hair!” and proceeded to walk towards my daughter.
I said lady I will give you the $40. I was upset cause I never wanted the blow dryer. My daughter’s rehearsal was in 30 minutes, her hair must be done!
So the pretend owner says, well “how much do you want to pay?” I said $30 would be reasonable. They messed up and $40 is a lot for a kid!
She said NO. So I just gave her my credit card and paid the $40.
Anyways, when we left my kid tells me that the hairdresser called me stupid. Because I believe blow drying hair damages it…
