I don’t do acrylic nails and happened to find this wonderful salon. Very clean and professional and skilled in the application of gel-x nails. Highly recommend.

I recently moved back to the area and was in search of a good nail salon. I had passed by Lavender a few times while in the plaza and thought it looked clean so I figured why not give them a try. I’m so glad I did—they’re the best! The location is always spotless, the staff is sweet and professional, and all of their services are high quality. They really pay attention to detail and it’s clear they take their work seriously. I get SNS powder and it always lasts 3-4 weeks without any lifting or chips. I look forward to coming here and relaxing ❤️

I get a jell manicure all the time here and they usually do such a good job except for this last time. My nails started chipping after 7 days. I called to make someone aware but I couldn’t go in to get them fixed immediately. I went in the next day and I was told there’s nothing they can do because it’s after a week. I’m so disappointed because they made no accommodations!! I’ll never get my nails done there again!!! I would not recommend this business!!! It’s not client friendly!!! I just read reviews and many other clients have the same problem with this salon!

Clean, calm atmosphere great music! Nice color selection, I love bright colors all season through it just makes me feel nice!- Kind of expensive but u get a frequency card and a discount after a certain amount of visits and services. They do eyebrows body waxing , pedicures. Mommie gives a mean message!

Okay, I had posted a review then deleted it, why? Because after about a week with my nails they started to chip at the cuticle & break away underneath. That shouldn’t happen with a pink gel fill-in. I had gone to this location when it was River Nails for a long while until the owner did me wrong, when I had done allot for her & her clients. She was very disorganized & didn’t know how to break down her time & we wait times vs appt times. I would let others go ahead of me when they were in a hurry, or waited mid treatment, so she could get another client going again in a hurry. While we are all in a hurry these days, nails are supposed to be relaxing. If ur in a hurry, in my opinion then make an appt. Appts should go 1st before b4 walk-ins, again why? They took the Xtra step to “make” said appt.
Anyway, one “appt” day I needed for Helen to be ontime or at best close to my appt time, (15+mins) & apparently a walk-in was already waiting 20mins got upset when I said well my appt is… This wasn’t the walk-ins fault, it was the owner for saying the wait time would be approx 20mins, KNOWING I was coming in after she was done with whomever she was working on. The walk-in stormed out, & I explained & reminded her all the times I let others go etc… When she started my nails she excused herself & went to the back & Sake the person who stormed out & told her she was sorry, that “I” could’ve it should’ve waited a little bit, help what? She came back to me telling me she felt bad, well yes you should, but this ALWAYS happened there, and I was ALWAYS accommodating until that day I was the one WITH APPT in a hurry. Oops I’m sorry, this is what appts are for, otherwise, YES you wait until… Anyway I found out River Nails was gone & Lavender Nails was in its place. I gave it a shot, it was pleasant, clean & nice, but nice wasn’t the results. I was very disappointed HOPING this place would work so close to home for me. It’s ALL in the filing, if you don’t know how to do gel fill-ins, hint claim to know how, they aren’t ez to do & do right. I had a guy in Mineola who was fantastic! I went out of my way to see him & What happened? He moved out of State! I was devastated, & now on the hunt again for my favorite nail tech. Jerry is STILL my back up guy at Five Star Nails, but the salon needs help, especially the smell & individual tools for each customer aren’t used, not cool. Anyway I hope Monica gets a little more experience then I’ll try her again at this location.
