Customer Reviews:
I got a gel manicure and a peppermint pedicure, and the quality of both services was poor. I had asked for one nail that broke and lifted off the nail bed to be repaired, and the guy tried to sell dipping my finger in powder as the repair. I told him that would absolutely not work, and had to convinced him to place a tip and properly repair it. However this gel manicure started chipping off after five days, which never happens to me with other gel manicures, let alone at the tip of the nails. I’m never hard on my hands, don’t constantly wet them. The polish was just applied too thinly and with not enough coats, and he placed the polish so far from the cuticle they looked outgrown by that afternoon. A couple of the nails weren’t filed evenly (they were long and I told them to please trim them to be even) and he never gave me a chance to look at them before he completed it either. I only use open toed sandals and two nails on my right foot lost the polish not even 3 days after getting them done (when done elsewhere it never comes off), before the event I wanted them done for happened. The massage was short but satisfactory.
My friend got french tipped manicure and pedicure that neither of us noticed had squigly lines and had white paint dripped in one of the nails, so I wasn’t the only one disappointed.
We had mid morning appointments in the middle of the week so we they weren’t busy and there was no wait fortunately, although we also had appointments for our services, which helped their timeliness. They’re very nice, and the place is pretty, but they are much more expensive than the place I go to in Cheviot Hills (adjacent to Beverly Hills, so I’m not skimping or crying over $) back home and the quality just doesn’t measure at all. They just don’t put the same attention to detail even though they have the time for it. Sadly, we’re going to need to find a different place when I come back for the holidays. We’ve given this place plenty of chances.
