I’ve gotten my nails done as well as a few waxes at Lacquer Lounge for the past year and a half. I have never been anything less than happy about the services I got. Everyone there from the receptionists to all of the technicians are super sweet and work very hard to accommodate schedules, be transparent with pricing, and make the clients feel great!

I’ve received a polygel set in the past which lasted significantly longer than I expected. My current regular technician is Sophy who is absolutely fantastic. She does gel and soft gel extensions as well as pedicures, all of which have been amazing. My soft gel extensions have lasted soooo long (probably longer than I should’ve left them on for haha). I’m not gentle with my hands, either! She is also such a pleasure to talk with and is extremely knowledgeable and whatever she does- the nails always last! Not only that but she is super efficient with time which, as a student, I’m super grateful for when I have things scheduled later in the day.

Paige has also done my waxes in the past and has been such a great person to chat with. The vibes are always super calming and she also is just super knowledgeable about post-wax care.

Overall, I’ve never met or been the client of anyone I haven’t liked. Some people mention that cost is a bit higher than other salons in the area, but I personally feel like you’re paying for nails that will last, hardworking and talented technicians, and an overall great environment, all of which are things worth putting money towards. Such a lovely experience! Lina was very friendly and personable; it felt like just hanging out while she was doing my nails. She did an amazing job and I will definitely be coming back!

I’ve been a regular at Lacquer Lounge since 2013 and I would not go anywhere else. It is worth every penny. Ellen and Sarah go the extra mile to help with booking. The owner, Lisa, is so kind and always around — asking how I’m doing. I usually get my nails done downstairs with Kaila and the vibe is so peaceful and relaxing. Kaila is so meticulous and attention to detail. She is thorough and takes her time. The waterless pedis are perfect — love the hot towels. The salon is clean and focuses on nail health. The techs always prioritize what’s healthy for your nail journey.

Today, was my first experience at the salon and I absolutely loved it. The salon itself was beautiful. There were a variety of items available for sale, which gave a boutique shop feel while also getting your nails done. The staff was very welcoming and professional. Myriam was the nail tech who took care of me and she was excellent. I look forward to returning in the future.

I’m sorry but I tried to avoid this at all cost but the unprofessionalism with this place is INSANE I had to leave a review. Last Sunday I got a pedicure and a set of polygel nails. My appointment was for 12 pm, I didn’t leave until 4 pm. The girl took 3 hours do a set of polygel nails with just pink polish on it. My nail tech barely spoke to me, which whatever, but damn the service was bad. I finally left at 4 pm and as I’m checking out she tells me it’s over $200. I don’t care about the price, but if you’re charging luxury prices, it should be luxury service. Which clearly it was not. By Tuesday I had already lost 3 nails. So the following Sunday I reach out to explain the situation because everyone and their mother was telling me how ridiculous it was to pay $200 and have 3 of your nails fall off in less then a week. So I call. They immediately tell me to send an email explaining the situation. Nobody gets back to that day, nobody gets back to me the day after. So by Tuesday I’m pissed. I’m emailing them and no one is. I finally got a hold of them and they gave me a partial refund. BUT save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about providing good service and who actually cares about their customers because this place clearly does not.

On a positive the receptionist was extremely pleasant the day I got my nails done and she was also the only person who spoke to me! That’s the only positive I have. Overall, not a positive experience.
