Customer Reviews:
The only thing that could be improved is how customers choose colors. Maybe because it was my first time but the samples and their numbers weren’t up to date so it took a while to find the colors I wanted. Overall, this is a solid nail bar. Thank you!
Weak SNS color selection: their SNS color selection needs work (part of why it took a bit more creativity to get what I wanted).
Poor communication: I was told they had exactly what they needed in all dip powder before I settled on a design, and then was later told they didn’t actually have what they needed and would have to do gel polish over the powder. Turned out fine thanks to a skilled technician that had to step in, but still rough because it took SO LONG.
Unsanitary and rough work: The person who did my pedicure cut VERY deep into my toe cuticles to the point where she obviously went beyond what she was supposed to do, but I couldn’t tell exactly until I left and my left big toe was inflamed and itchy. All I knew is she cut my left
big toe to the point where it was bleeding and she had to use a coagulant to get it to stop. The next day, my right big toe joined the red and itchy party. And the day after that, my two middle toes on BOTH
FEET were super sore to the point where it felt like my nails were going to fall off. I’m scared to see what would have happened if I hadn’t kept putting alcohol on my feet diligently after leaving every day for about a week!
False advertising in coupons: I was supposed to get 20% off with a coupon I got in the mail, but instead only got 10% deducted. I was so exhausted by the time it was time to leave though, I just said forget it and left. BEWARE.
SNS not an actual manicure: maybe I shouldn’t be so upset at this one considering the conditions of my toes upon leaving, but my SNS was not a manicure. They literally just put the dip polish on my natural nail, got the design done, and sent me about my way.
I wanted short round nails with tips and dip powder and asked to not be too aggressive with the drill or do buffer only because my nails and thin and sensitive. I also had clear polish on that I mentioned twice and he didn’t bother to try and remove before trying to glue the tips on (of course one of them almost immediately fell off).
He ended up going over one my nails 4 different times with the drill because he was trying to use the dip powered I picked out as if it was acrylic. Eventually he realized what happened but used the drill instead of acetone to remove it. Then he never asked what shape I wanted and proceeded to give me these very crooked square nails till I finally realized he was trying to wrap up and wasn’t going to ask. He ended up fixing the shape but it looks pretty messy.
Also, health hazard heads up. I was not asked to even wash my hands nor was alcohol used on my nails before he dipped my fingers directly into the powder container. Additionally, the file boards used are not switched out or even cleaned between customers which is extra disappointing during COVID times.
I don’t think these are going to last and my nails are super sore. I’m a little disappointed I didn’t follow my urge to get up and leave in the first 10 minutes.
