I recently visited for a manicure and pedicure while my usual nail stylist was out of the country. The experience was quite pleasant overall.

Starting with the manicure, it looks great! The quality of the work is excellent, and I’m very pleased with the results. However, it wasn’t 100% what I wanted because the salon doesn’t offer a dip top coat, which I prefer. Instead, they use a gel top coat on their dip products. Although this isn’t my preference, the staff recommended the gel top coat for its durability, and it seems to be holding up.

Despite this small inconvenience, the overall service and atmosphere were delightful. The staff was friendly and professional, ensuring a comfortable experience. I appreciated their attention to detail and the quality of their work.

I would recommend Kim #1 Nails if you’re looking for a reliable place for nail services, especially if you’re open to trying a gel top coat on dip products. I left the salon very pleased with my nails and will consider returning in the future.

I had the worst experience today. My nails look like crap. I showed them what I wanted, and he assured me he could do it. No, he could not do it. After trying several times, he finally gave up and asked someone else. Well, after he tried several times, he gave up. They couldn’t even paint my toes the right color. I told him 3 times it was the wrong color. He just kept on. I just started crying and told them I was ready to go. Despite how upset I was and the fact that none of them could get it right, I was still charged full price. When I asked when Kim was going to return so I could get her to fix them, I was told she wouldn’t be back until next year. It’s a huge disappointment. Kim has always been the best, but these guys are not even close. I will not return. Pictures added. What I asked for vs what I got.

Since Kim took over new management from the other Kim she’s the ONLY person I let touch my nails. They are absolutely wonderful the first time she done my nails (the Christmas ones) I came back to get them filled in and she said “since you workout a lot it’s best we do acrylic” and it just made me so happy that she listened to me and acknowledged that. They are the best in dekalb county! The black, Christmas and hot pink are my nails that she has done and the others is my moms!

Paid $80 for my nails. While, they do look nice. Not $80 nice. They’re uneven which isn’t the worst but for 80 bucks I expect near perfection. Powder is still caked under my nails and I got nicked about 6 times. The color IS good though.

I came in yesterday for the first time and I can honestly say they did not disappoint, they actually listen to what you want and don’t try and talk you into something else, Kim is amazing at what she does and I will definitely be using them from now on! If you’re not getting your nails done here I highly suggest you start!
