Services I recieved: Callus Removal Pedi with Acrylic Set (takes approximately 2-2½ hours for both services)

I started coming to KBS Nail Bar back in January (2024) and they have completely transformed my feet in just a few months! I used to feel so insecure about my feet and would hide them, now I happily show them off. I had struggled with ingrown nails and dry/cracked heels for a long time. Thanks to KBS Nail Bar both issues have been 90% resolved so far, and I’m sure in a few more pedicures both issues will be gone.

My ingrown nails were so uncomfortable and I would cut them down so far that there would barely be any nail left. I started getting their acrylic service on my toes as an attempt to force the nail to grow out in the correct direction and it worked! Now my natural nail has grown out 90% of where I’d like for it to be and makes the acrylic look natural on my toes. My acrylics last about 5-6 weeks without any lifting and would probably last longer if I stopped hitting my toes on the corner my couch and breaking one. Even when I break one the nail pops clean off and the natural nail underneath doesn’t appear to have any damage. When I would get acrylics on my fingers at other salons I was used to seeing the bands/indents on my nails from the acrylics but I have never run into that issue here! My natural nails look great.

As for the cracked heels, the Callus Removal Pedi works wonders. Although to get similar results you might have to get the service a few times if you have really bad cracked heels like I did. I’m sure we would all love for one pedicure to fix all our problems but trust me when I say it’s worth coming back for. My heels used to be so cracked and caused a lot of discomfort but now they’re so smooth and soft I barely recognize them!

On top of the excellent service KBS Nail Bar has, their salon gives off a very empowering feeling. All of the staff greet you with such a warm welcome and offer snacks/beverages during your service. Their salon is full of music and conversation that gives a very fun and positive experience. I always leave feeling great!

I just LOVE KBS!!! I’ve been seeing Natalie for my acrylic nails for months and she never disappoints; this is the first salon I’ve been to where every nail lasts the full 2 weeks between fills! I’ve never had any complaints. Then, I started getting lash extensions with Izzy, and she does amazing work too! I leave KBS feeling beautiful every time. And Kim, the owner, despite having never directly received services with her, always greets me by name with a smile when I come in; you can tell they really care about their clients! The first time I came in, Kim greeted me as if she was expecting me. Masters of client retention! They never make me feel pressured to chat, but everyone is friendly and personable if we do chat. I can’t recommend this salon enough; they always make me feel like I am their top priority during my appointment and I always leave happy!

I have been going to KBS Nail Bar for over a year now and I have always left with a beautiful nail/lash/wax job done. I go to Kim for my nails, Izzy for my lash extensions, and Natalie for waxing, and each tech does an incredible job each time, never a doubt! The salon is clean, neatly decorated, and an overall welcoming atmosphere. I love KBS Nail Bar and really could not recommend this place enough! 🙂

I really wanted to like this place as it was close by, prices seemed reasonable, and they had a diverse staff.

Well it was an apt from hell. It was supposed to be a 30 min service, and I informed them at the time of booking that I had to be done and out the door in an hour and they said no problem. So I was thinking 30 mins for my manicure and 20 mins for drying at least. O no, I was sosososos wrong.

Despite being almost 30 mins early so I can pick out my polish, wash my hands, and be ready to go, the nail artist started over 5 mins late because another nail artist was doing her nails. Then in the middle of the apt she took a phone call for a booking which was almost 7 mins long. On top of this, she couldn’t figure out how to use her new cuticle cutters, her old ones were dull and the top coat was sticky and stringy. 5 mins past when I needed to leave I had to have her stop in the middle of the apt as if I continue I would not make my next apt (let alone have any drying time) which couldn’t be moved.

I was then told I could come back any time between 5-7. I said I would be back at 6. Around 4 I was told she booked an apt and that I needed to come back at 6:30. Once again not ideal, but I was leaving for a conference the next morning so it had to be fixed. They also charged me before the service was complete which I thought was completely uncalled for.

Upon my return it took over an hour to finish because the nail artist dropped the fan on my fingers and had to redo my thumb. She also touched the wet nails with her palms and had to re do other portions. It’s clear they don’t know how to do a regular manicure!!

So what was supposed to be 30 mins plus drying time took over 2 hours and two trips and well the results suck! The top coat shrunk and nail nails looked so horrible that I had to get them re-done at my conference destination. This cost me time and money and my self confidence to the point I had them redone.

Save yourself the headache, heartache, time, and money and find another salon.

I had an amazing experience here with Natalie doing a full set with art! Everyone at the salon was so nice and welcoming. Natalie did such an amazing job. She took her time and was so enthusiastic about getting the nail art to be perfect. I cannot wait to go back! I definitely recommend. My pictures don’t do these nails justice.
