I have been going to Johnny nails for 7 years. I usually have a decent experience but this time was absolutely ridiculous and the reason why I will never be returning. I went to my normal tech Mai and got black shellac. Like I said before I have been going there for a long time and I am a very observant person. They have nail polishes that have been in the exact same spot and have not been moved for years! I only get three colors on my nails. Black, baby, pink, and occasional white. Whenever I get any of these colors from their selection, they always peel very fast. Which means they are very old and most likely refilled with acetone to use over and over again.

So I went on Amazon and got the shellac that they have in the colors that I like. I went to my regular tech (mai) with my own nail polish and she insisted I use theirs. She said that it’s better. I took her opinion, even though I knew better and let her paint my nails with their nail color. Not even one day later, they started cracking and peeling. I decided I wanted to get them repainted. I went in early and she was busy with someone, so Amy offered to do it for me.

I didn’t think it would be such a big deal, but it turned out otherwise. I told her I wanted to repaint my nails and I brought my own color. She then proceeds to have a major attitude which I still can’t understand why. And tells me with a snotty voice. We have that color. Which I replied that I would like to use my own color. Since she isn’t my regular tech I didn’t feel the need to give her an explanation. I just wanted a repaint and to go about my day, but the reason is because every time I get black paint from the shop selection it always chips! she then proceeds to be very aggressive and rude the entire time she’s painting my nails. I don’t know if she thought that since I brought my own nail color, I was seeking some sort of a discount. But she had an attitude from hell! I still can’t understand why it’s such a big deal that I wanted to use my own nail color?

Their selection is old! I’ve been coming there for seven years. I have seen the same nail colors in the exact same spots. When she gets done painting my nails, she tells me $25! 25!!!! for a color change! She had a horrible attitude, and was very rude and nasty. I will never go back to that salon! Save your money! I did not deserve that treatment! And I definitely didn’t deserve to get overcharged for something that should be no more than 5 bucks! Especially being a regular, respectful customer. Gowhere your money is valued and you are appreciated for your loyalty. She made Mai lose a customer and I will never be back. You shouldn’t either.

Went here to get my nails done this past Friday. And was excited to come back to a salon I used to go to loyalty for years. I was sadly mistaken about this location now first of all the people who do your nails talk bad about you and talk amongst each other about how the clients look and their overall appearance then while servicing the clients they speak on how they are going to charge them as much as they can for some really terrible work. So when I came in I had no appointment so I was willing to wait but I got sent to the person who is learning how to do nails. he cut my nails too short didn’t apply enough acrylic my nails were different lengths and the corners of my nails were pointing out and upwards like a staple that is upsidedown. I went home after this experience after paying 50.00 for nails that are shorter than my fingers not thick enough to withstand the day to day work at home and at work. I myself someone who does nails had to fix their work file and style my nails looked like square blocks that were not the same size or consistency. Such a terrible job. The other ladies who worked there would come look at my nails as the guy was doing it and just talk in their language and say oh well she is the one who has to walk around with her nails like this. It is her fault. Mind you I’m white but I do understand many languages so I know when people are talking disrespectfully about someone then smile in their face. Please don’t go here if you want your nails done correctly. I’m very disappointed and will be going somewhere else the next time I get my nails done. Their customer service is absolutely non-existent and quality is very bad. Keep driving by this place don’t stop here. It is a waste of time and money.

Terrible service. Disgusting nail tools. I don’t even understand how these people are still in business. I came in for a take off on old acrylics, a full set and a pedicure. $20 to take off nails for a full set is ridiculous. When the guy put on the new set of nails my fingertips were BURNING! When I said something he just smirked and continued applying the nails. I’ve been getting my nails done for over 10 years and have never had this happen. The lady who did my pedicure basically forced me to get gel polish by saying it was the same cost as regular because she had to remove old polish that I came in with. Isn’t that apart of the service?? The experience was horrendous and I just wanted to get out of there. Honestly I don’t normally leave reviews of services I dislike because I would just normally never go back there but the last straw is that I noticed on my bank statement THEY ADDED A TIP TO WHAT I PAID!!! Now they are stealing customers money!!! Don’t ever consider even setting foot in this so called “nail salon” and I will be reporting this fraud to my bank.

The younger nail tech with long ashy blonde hair was HORRIBLE! She rushed through my fill in, got polish all over my skin and proceeded to tell me that it was dry skin while she peeled away the polish. I even have dried nail polish on the palm of my hand. She was also void of any kind of patience which even led me to ask her if she had a break coming up because she was rushing so fast to get finished with my nails. Definitely not a place to relax in. Anyway as a result my nails are bumpy, the edges are rough and not completely polished. It was such a horrible experience that I even contemplated not paying her…which is so not like me. I would not recommend this nail dump to anyone.

I typically love this place, they have a great selection for dip and gel. However, today when I came in, I asked for a dip manicure and a pedicure. I indicated at least three times that I wanted a dip manicure. They sat me down at the pedicure chair, did my pedicure, and then said “oh sorry our dip manicurist is out today. We can only give you a shellac manicure“. I am very disappointed and feel let down being tricked at a business I thought I trusted and will not be going back unfortunately.
