I’ve gone here for both gel pedicures and dip manicures, and I’m always impressed at how kind and thorough the staff are. I’ve been here about 4 times now, and I’ve never been disappointed. This is probably one of the best nail salons I’ve ever been to. The prices are very reasonable, too.

My husband has gone with me once, for a manicure and pedicure. The girl who worked on him spent extra time getting out all the crud in his toes, working especially hard on the toes where he has a toe fungus. He was very grateful and impressed as well.

Got my nails done here for engagement photos and it looked awful, I tried telling the lady who did my nails that it looked too thick and she said that it was because my nails were curved and that she couldn’t make it thinner. Since this was my first time getting acrylics, I didn’t know how to ask her to fix it. Well today I went to Shine Nails in Kailua and they fixed it without hesitation. I would not recommend this place because they will take advantage of you and your inexperience.

I had my wedding nails and pedicure done at JJ Nails. I live in Kailua but could not find someone there to do what I wanted. They did a wonderful job at JJ Nails. It’s not cheap but it’s worth it.

Came in as a walk-in customer and Helen immediately welcomed me. Long-story-short, I got a gel mani + pedi and my nails have never looked better. Helen is an absolute pro and she went at my beaten up kitchen hands and feet and made them look so lovely. Wish I lived in Honolulu because she’d be my go-to gal, no doubt. Great spot!
