Spent $58 total including 15% tip on a basic acrylic manicure / removal, in my 4 years in Venice area have always been to places that charge $35-40 reasonably. Very average manicure and got a cut under one of my nails from the harsh filing (happens I understand) but I had to wear a bandaid for a couple days after as it stings every time there’s liquid that washes through my hands. Would never come back here absolutely insane how they can be charging a premium on average service on a manicure and a cut 😂

I’m new to the area & a friend recommended Jet nails. Phillip was my nail technician & he was great. I wish I had a before photo because I had ripped off all my dip powder nails a few days earlier and my nails looked actually terrible. Phillip recommended a tip with hard gel and we painted with opi big apple red. This was the first time I’ve gotten hard gel, so I’m not sure of the standard pricing. I was charged $75 for the new set. My nails look so natural and feel really well done so I think it was worth the price. I will be definitely be back!

1 star because my pedicure was decent but -4 stars because my gel manicure was ridiculous. The lady wanted to put on a layer of dip powder on my nails because she thought that’s what I had on previously and I told her no, it was hard gel. She then said (once my nails were prepped for the gel polish) that removing the hard gel is a $20 charge but that for me it would be $10. $20 remove hard gel?!?! Even charging $10 is a scam when you literally remove hard gel the same way you remove regular gel– by soaking it with acetone. I pointed out how evident it was that the hard gel wasn’t even thoroughly removed as the newly placed gel polish was extremely lumpy. She then said that my nails can be fixed “next time”, no thank you, there won’t be a next time. I got the “Simply Pedicure” which is $25 but they upcharge an additional $20 if you want gel. I also find that quite ridiculous as basic gel is no longer a luxury as it once was when it was new to the market. Total spent was $95. Crazy.

One of the absolute best nail experiences I have ever had. The staff is friendly, their work is great and their massages are incredible. I have done everything from a regular manicure to a gel pedicure to acrylics with nail art – all perfection. Could not recommend more. Love it there.

Nails are ok, but they hord the two charging stations in the parking lot (Walgreens). It cuts off after 45 minutes but do they care, when they do decided to go to their cars they unplug it then plug it back in. It makes you wonder if there’s other corners they cut?
