I had made an appointment with this hair salon, ensuring I followed their 48-hour cancellation policy. Regrettably, due to illness, I attempted to reschedule just 47.5 hours before my appointment. Despite persistent efforts to reach them via phone and messages, I was met with silence for several hours. Finally, when they did respond, it was with dismissive treatment. They promptly cancelled my appointment and charged me $45, showing little regard for my circumstances.
What’s even more alarming is their consistent lack of responsiveness. My previous attempt to contact them via email went unanswered months ago, and this time was no different. This disregard for communication left me feeling undervalued as a customer.
Adding insult to injury, the owner’s response to my rescheduling request was disheartening. Instead of showing empathy, they labeled me as “selfish” and insinuated that I was disrupting their business by requesting to reschedule within their policy’s timeframe. This lack of understanding and professionalism, especially toward a loyal customer, is unacceptable. It’s evident that customer satisfaction takes a backseat to rigid policies at this establishment.
In light of these experiences, I strongly advise potential clients to seek services elsewhere. Prioritize businesses that value open communication and empathy over strict adherence to policies.
