I’ve been coming here for months seeing Nina! She does an amazing job at dip powder every time. I’ve seen other people for pedicures too and they are all amazing and so sweet! They just got a remodel not too long ago too, love this salon!

I was going to the shop nearby my apartment because it was convenient after getting my nails done for months. I was so dissatisfied of going back and getting them re-done that I tried HD nails upon a request from my friends.
I saw Nina tonight and I was treated with the best service and customer experience I’ve had in awhile.

I had huge difficulty trying to work with Pricilla Nails to get my refund, and they guilt tripped me, wanted my license and a print out of that and the check they wrote out to me for my refund, took my photo to show other techs they knew so I couldn’t get services, and also told me to never come back. I was unhappy with my services, so I already made the decision to never come back.
Now, just because you’re a licensed tech, doesn’t mean you have proper knowledge about your job. I see this with doctors, malpractice happens. This is why you should definitely seek a good beauty technician and stick with them.
The reason why I leave my bad review, is because of the dispute that happened when I was unhappy and found out that Lily’s knowledge was wrong. If you cannot give knowledge to a customer, then maybe stick to only doing pedicures and not dealing with intensive chemicals that go into fake nails/gel/dip. She told me that gel and dip were the same thing, which ended up with my nails being very brittle, and she did a patchy job, and never pushed my cuticles back. I mean, they look good from afar, and I got a lot of compliments, but they looked grown out in a week because she didn’t do the first step: cuticles. At least give the option of letting your customers push their own back if you don’t want to make them bleed. I’ve researched, and dip stays on longer, doesn’t peel, and looks fresher if you do the cuticles.
If you ask other nail techs about the differences between dip and gel, there are huge differences, especially with fake nail tips, you need acrylic. The aftercare is very different, and both can affect your nail health in the end. If I had known more about how acrylic works, I wouldn’t have gotten it. I wish she would have given proper advice. All the nail techs said they were the same. And they all were very angry with me for trying to get justice. Here are photos from the day of my appointment.
Learn your profession, follow the steps and proper sanitation methods, and don’t be afraid to talk with your customers, learn how to be respectful to them. I will state, just because I have gotten my refund, doesn’t mean I am a happy customer. I am absolutely saddened by the treatment, the gaslighting, the manipulation, and just the overall name calling, interrupting, and poor treatment. My review will still stand, but with some edits. Reviews help the general population make wise decisions.

Lily has done it again! 🙂 Her skill speaks for itself! Todays sunflower set was exactly what I needed to brighten my day! The other photos, are some references to her beautiful work.

Lily takes pride in her work and it shows with her attention to detail, her knowledge and her passion. She is always happy to answer any questions I might have, and recommend what is best for my nails! She is friendly, genuine and cares about her clients!

Anyone who needs their nails done whether you need gel, dip or acrylic, I highly recommend Lily! You won’t be disappointed! 🙂

UPDATE: NEW OWNER, NEW EXPERIENCE! Oh my word! BEST. PEDICURE. EVER!!! New interior treatment that is clean, bright, hygienic, and so very inviting. It was nice before, but the new and upgraded chairs are more comfortable and help me relax while I enjoy my pedicure.

Nina, Tommy, and Tony are gentle, caring, and very professional. They also speak English well, so a nice chat is also possible if you’re the talky sort. Pleasant music plays softly in the background, so the total pampering spa experience is just a joy.

HD Nail is open 7 days a week: M-F 10-7, Sat-10-6, Sun 11-5. Do yourself a favor and have a HAPPY DAY at HD Nails! I highly recommend the deluxe pedicure… You can thank me later. 😉

Lily and Hu were very personable, welcoming me into the shop on my very first visit recently. The shop was clean, clean, clean and bright, with peaceful music playing in the background. I decided on a deluxe pedicure and was welcomed to sit in one of their very comfortable massaging recliner chairs — and let me say the chair gave me an excellent massage (better than most electric massage chairs). My feet and nails were prepped and clipped per my preference, followed by an exquisite hot paraffin foot treatment and unbelievable leg massage with hot stones, and then a foot massage. I am now a big fan of this shop, and encourage you to give them a try, too!
