Kate Wolfe
I came for an acrylic fill and a standard pedicure. The first woman started the acrylic fill, filed off my shellac (though not all of it!) and applied the acrylic. She then moved me to the pedicure chair, which was old and the water wasn’t terribly warm, but whatever. The woman doing my pedicure didn’t seem to be understanding what I wanted. I wanted my toenails cut rounded and very short, with no white. She cut them straight across and barely trimmed them at all. I asked 3 times to have them cut shorter, and she said yes, but didn’t. Except one section of one big toe nail, she decided to clip way into the skin on the side, and yanked out a chunk, painfully creating a hangnail. I had to ask multiple times again for callus removal, which was supposed to be part of the pedicure. She did a tiny bit on some, but not all, of my calluses. I eventually stopped asking. By this point, the first woman had filed my fingernails to the right shape, but then she stopped and went to do another person’s pedicure. After applying lotion, “my” pedicurist got out a hot stone to rub on my legs. It would have been fine, except she got distracted and left it in one spot while talking to the other woman, and it burned me. At that point, I put on my sandals and went and sat down to wait for my fingernails to get finished. She filed and buffed them some, but when she told me to go wash my hands so she could paint them, some weren’t buffed and were quite rough on top, and about half of them were jagged on the sides enough to catch on the fabric of my dress. I said I was done, and should finish them myself. They at least had enough sense not to try to charge me for the pedicure.

I’m just very disappointed of this salon. It was my 3rd time and I really want to like it. But today was my last time there. If I would know that for everything she charge extra 5$ I wouldn’t do it. 5$ for almond shape, 5$ for 3rd color. Why? It’s so difficult to use 3 colors?! Dont get this. Some nails has so much acrylic on top that they are super thick. I will stick with Nail code for 35$ (doesn’t matter what I’m doing) instead of 50$

Very nice lady, place is very clean & she doesn’t demand tips like Stella Nail Shop in Ballinger Way so ridiculous.

The gal who did my nails was very nice, but….. she painted my nails the wrong color, and I had that bold red (not pink) all over my cuticles for a couple of days. After 2 weeks, I have 3 nails broken or fractured nails

Always a great experience and quality work. Pedicures, manicures and dipping powder nail types have been consistently beautiful and strong enough to last for over 3 weeks.
