Bad haircut and the store smelled of weed. Hairdressers were definitely high and rushed me out of the store, I wasn’t given a chance to ask for any changes to the cut they’d given me because the moment they were done they took the cape off and went to the cash register without a word.
I’ve never been a demanding customer at any point, and I don’t need employees to “present themselves” as long as they do a good job, but I’m not kidding when I say someone needs to be fired.

I came in around 3:40pm on a day the shop closed at 5pm. I was worried they wouldn’t be pleased I showed up so late in the day without an appointment. My stylist, Wanda, was very pleasant and got me back right away. She listened to what I wanted, even though I wasn’t super sure what would best suit my hair. I just knew my hair looked damaged and it had been ages since I got a haircut. I left with my damaged ends cut, but my length was still preserved as I didn’t want to go short. She gave me bangs like I asked, and was careful to make sure I was comfortable with the length. She also recommended a product to help me with frizz when I expressed I was looking to remedy flyaways. I am so pleased! The shampoo and conditioner have been amazing and my hair looks so healthy after the cut and products. The staff were cheerful and kind even though it was busy so close to closing time. I’m so grateful for the lovely cut I left with and the products recommended. Thank you for your care to make sure I was happy with the cut and for being so welcoming even late in the day. I appreciate your positive attitude and the level of customer service you provided, Ms. Wanda!

First of all, I’d like to preface this by saying that I am a confident person. However, after my last experience I will never return to a Great Clips again. What was supposed to be a 2 inch haircut turned into 6+ inches being cut off, with my hair now at my jaw. I cry every time I look in the mirror.
This has not been my first extremely negative experience at an Auburn Great Clips, and I’ve finally decided I’ll never return. I’m honestly in shock right now at how atrocious this haircut turned out, and I’ll never speak about or visit a Great Clips again.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst haircuts I have ever received. So bad that I cried after. The lady came in high and that’s when I knew I should have just asked for a trim, because I had already seen a review about this before I came in, but I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt because it was the first time I had been to this salon. I showed her a picture of what I wanted (I asked for longer bangs) and they ended up coming out extremely short and uneven. And every time a piece of hair that didn’t belong on the front of my head would get in the way of the bangs, instead of just putting it back into my part, she would just cut it. Now I have a bunch of short pieces that obviously do not belong in the bangs on the top of my head. I rarely leave reviews, but I have never been so heartbroken about a haircut in my life. I wake up every day and regret that I ever got my hair cut here. Waiting for the day it all grows out.

I will never go back! I asked for short layers with bangs and this young lady did not know what she was doing! I asked for shirt layers with bangs. What I got was no bangs and my front chopped like a bowl! I would not recommend getting your hair done there!
