I’ve been going regularly to Golden Scissors since 2019. Melissa is always attentive and able to give me the exact haircut I have in mind. Plus, we have great conversations, usually solving all of the world’s problems in one sitting. Without fail, she makes me perfectly coiffed so that I’m always a hit with the ladies. Highly recommended.

Melissa is a very personable lady with a keen eye for the style a customer wants. She works quickly but often stops to make sure the customer is liking the look she’s crafting. The shop is spotless, hair products are stocked and there’s free parking behind the business. I enjoyed chatting with her!

Moved back to Vermont about 2 years ago and had a horrible experience at a place in Burlington while trying to find a new place for a haircut so I’m very serious about who cuts my hair. I found Melissa a few months later, she has been incredibly consistent with her cuts, with great input and conversation. She was even willing to change the hair style half way through when I changed my mind and she never charged extra. 10/10 would go again

My boyfriend got his haircut at this salon and was the best he’s ever gotten! The stylist is very personable and listened to exactly what he wanted, making sure it was cut how he likes it. He’s only going back to this salon from now on and they are very flexible with walk in services and great prices.
