The manicurist did not apply a top coat and left me to tell if my nails were dry. They smeared and the business would not compensate for the poor job. Other salons do not skip the top coat and check the nails are dry with a cotton ball even if I bring my own nail polish. I did not want to revisit due to the poor experience initially, as I should not have to ask for these steps of a manicure be completed. The fact they wouldn’t issue $23 back on a $81 final total (includes tip) is upsetting and I won’t return. Their email reply did not address the fact that crucial steps of the process were skipped, so why would I trust them to correct the issue if that’s not even acknowledged?

I love coming here to get my nails done by Michelle ! She takes her time and always does a good job to make sure everything looks perfect for me 💞 Both my mom & sister go to her exclusively now and she takes good care of our nails!

It was a great place. I walked in around 2 and they had space for me immediately. the lady was really sweat. I don’t remember her name, but she was so nice and gentle with my hands. It didn’t even hurt. It was a bit more pricey than i thought, but it was okay. I payed 90$ for long, the chrome and the letter. They’re not perfect but i’m so happy with them!

Here I have attached a photo of what my inspiration was versus what I actually got at the salon. I went in and saw a Manicurist that was highly recommended. I explained to her that I am going to Hawaii in a couple days and would be expecting a really big surprise so I was spoiling myself with the perfect nails. Once my nails were done, I was immediately disappointed. Initially, I did not say anything because I felt bad, wanted to be respectful, and told myself that maybe I was being too picky. I had thought that maybe I was being a poor sport and could grow to love the nails but as the day went on I just didn’t feel like I could. I spent over 100 bucks for these acrylics. The following day, I called the salon and asked if it was possible to get a refund. I explained my reasoning as politely as I could. I was told that I have seven days to go back in and get them redone. I tried to explain that I do not have the time to go in as I am going to be leaving for vacation the next day (and truthfully, I did not want to go back in and be disappointed again). I asked if it was possible to at least get a refund. I was told that under any circumstances I am not going to be given a refund. I accepted my loss and went to see a Manicurist elsewhere who could squeeze me in. The other person I went to go see, proceeded to remove the acrylic and told me that golden nails possibly used an illegal MMA acrylic on my nails. The Manicurist believes that illegal MMA was used on my nails, because when acetone was used to soak my nails, it left a gooey and gummy residue. A report is going to be made. I am so disappointed in the salon. What was supposed to be a special treat for me so that I could feel confident on my vacation turned out to be a disaster. I will not be coming here ever again. BEWARE!

First visit here and I will definitely be back. Clean, friendly and accommodating! Jenny did a wonderful job on my pedicure. Highly recommend Golden Nails!
