I have gone back and forth to post this but this is just unacceptable as a regular who comes here every 3 weeks and takes great care of my nails. My regular girl who I love was on vacation and they gave me the guy (Tommy). All the ladies here are so good so I assumed he would be fine. He completely destroyed my nails and knew he was doing it. I was so uncomfortable but did not know what to do as this is my regular spot. He drilled my nails so thin that when I got home they were all bending back and forth which should not happen with gel and my nails are super strong normally. He just kept drilling them and did the whole process horribly. He was a bit rough too and the drill was burning my nail beds. I asked for a third coat because the second coat was so messy there was no way he could have thought they looked good. My girl is so gentle and takes such good care so I know this shouldn’t happen. This is what is happening to my nails after a few days of seeing Tommy. Three nails broken in a couple days which NEVER happens to me.

Second time at this location & have had a great experience. They offer you complimentary drinks which is a great touch to the experience. I had Ayla do my gel x nails & had a great experience. She got my nails / designs to the t of what I had shown her as inspiration. I also appreciate that she cleaned my cuticles as it’s not included unless requested. I also appreciated the fact that she broke down pricing before getting started since pricing isn’t posted around the shop.
Would highly recommend her if you are looking for designs or something out of the normal. Thanks again Ayla !

This used to be a Color Nails salon. GoBahli took over last year. They almost doubled their prices on pedicures. My last visit, the girl kept digging too deeply and cut my big toe and the one next to it. The result is both nails look black and dead. I will be finding another Color Nails and will never return to this one. I have been going to this location for 10 years. No more.

My nail tech today was Emmi. She did a fabulous job. I’ve never had her do my nails before. I had to get a whole new set. She knew how to shape them right. It was a perfect experience. Thank you, Emmi!

This is my go to place to get my nails done. I’ve tried numerous other salons around Carlsbad/ La Costa but this salon surpasses them all. They actually have a legitimate appointment system! You will be seen at the time of your actual appointment. That factor alone is rare in my experience. They also always have plenty of staff there which leads to minimal wait times, if any. They never rush and they are very friendly. They also offer a complimentary beverage! All the staff here are professional and polite, you really can’t go wrong. But my go to girl is Ayla. She can pretty much do anything. I would highly recommend this salon!
