I have only had one good experience at GLOSSLAB. The other two times I’ve gone I’ve been left frustrated & unhappy with my manicure. The first time I went the nail tech was complaining in Spanish about how she didn’t want to be there SURPRISE I speak Spanish too & it SOO unprofessional to complain about your client while servicing them. TODAY I went because I got the holiday 50% off promotion via email so I figured I’d give it another shot. I am so upset with my mani. The tech cut my nails WAYY too short & then flooded my cuticles with the polish. She then would try to pick it off using an orange cuticle stick after curing the gel polish and THEN reapplying more polish to cover up the area she has scraped off. She even applied more polish on top of the top coat! The result is a SUPER THICK application that looks uneven when all I wanted was a clean mani. And it’s not even that the gel polish is thicker because they use CND like all the other salons in nyc & I’ve NEVER had an application this thick. Soo disappointed with the service I’ve received. And even with the 50% off it was so expensive!! If the intention behind sending a promo is to secure return customers this did the total opposite for me because now 2/3 times I’ve had a horrible experience. Better off saving money and going to any place else. GLOSSLAB is not worth the hype or the cost !!

I had the pleasure of getting my nails done by “ Rosa “ at the flat iron location. She did such an amazing job ! She was fast , efficient , polite , and very accommodating! Will definitely be coming back. She has made my experience at glosslab so pleasant !

This place looks great, I was visiting town and was really excited to go! I went in for extensions with a gel manicure. First, while clipping my cuticles the nail tech cut me…and it bled forever, she wiped it with a DIRTY paper towel. After, my nails were thick and bumpy on the surface. 24 hours later one of nails fell off completely. I spent $118+ for the WORST manicure ever. Contacted customer service and have not heard back in days.

Lourdes at the flatiron location was amazing! She was nice and friendly, and cleaned my cuticles so well. The nail design came out so perfect and beautifully! She made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I can’t wait to visit again for a pedicure. 🙂 👍💅💕
