I got a regular mani/pedi and while it was a bit pricier than some of the other nail salons in the area, it was well worth it. Great facilities and service.

Limited color options, and less than quality workmanship on manicures. Gel manicure was more expensive than other places, was poorly applied, and has lasted less than a week.

I’m so disappointed in my gel manicure today. I stopped in yesterday and showed them a photo of what I was looking for (a 1930s half-moon manicure). I understand that it’s not a typical manicure, so I wanted to make sure they could do it before I made an appointment. I was assured they could do it so I made an appointment. I wanted my nails done for an event coming up.

The lady who did my nails was very nice and sweet, but she clearly didn’t know how to do this style, and I just wish they would have been honest about that. I had to guide her on how to create the negative space at the cuticle (remove the red polish at the nail bed with rubbing alcohol) as the way she was going to do it would have been completely incorrect. She was planning to paint the whole nail red and then just paint a white half-moon at the nail bed.

After she did the red color, I told her that I was ok with not having the lighter white color added to the half moon (at this point I had lost all confidence in her ability) and that I just wanted to leave my natural color there. She insisted that the white was going to look good so I relented, thinking maybe she had a great technique.

But her technique for adding the white was awful and now my manicure looks horrible. I’m going to have to take it off and re-do them myself. I can not believe I just waisted $90 on this!
