I went here and am very disappointed with gel nails. They lady before me was upset with hers and I should have know. But 5 days later they are chipping and they basically look just like press on from Dollar Tree. She didn’t fill with normal gel? Just not good. Only cash taken. ?? Finally used Venmo. 55.00. Be aware. 7 days later pic😞

I was searching for a reasonably priced place in Yuba City when I noticed a sign advertising a $25 pedicure, which prompted me to visit the establishment. The place was small and lacked appeal, but Nancy and her brother Loc managed it, and they were both pleasant enough. I opted for the $45 pedicure, which I was told included hot stones (though it did not). Nancy started the pedicure, and her brother finished it. During the process, Nancy convinced me to get a manicure, and I ended up with an extra charge for clear gel polish on my nails, which I did not request. She also attempted to wax my face, pointing out my melasma, to which I declined. She then suggested doing my eyebrows. Amidst this, she claimed I had fungus on my big toe, which surprised me. Skeptical at first, she showed me the lifted nail bed, convincing me it was indeed fungus. I declined polish on my toes, and she advised cutting the nails very short, removing the nail chunk with the fungus, and sold me some Chinese medicine. While I appreciated her not just covering up the fungus, I did not expect to pay $105, and I was surprised that they only accepted cash or Venmo, not credit cards. I left feeling hustled. On a positive note, her brother gave a great massage, and my nails looked good, but I felt deceived about the gel polish. I hope Nancy takes heed of non-positive reviews as she is new. As for me, I’ll stick to my regular place near my work from now on.

This woman spilled some of the paraffin wax while she was putting it in a bag. So her solution was to scrape it off of the floor; in a bathroom mind you, with the same container she uses to scoop it out. Then she proceeds to take the wax that she scraped off of the bathroom floor and put it back into the wax container to be used again. She should definitely be shut down for completely unsanitary conditions. I came to the salon about a month ago with high hopes. I quickly realized that this is not a good place. All I had was a pedicure. I went there because they have a sign that says pedicures are on sale for $25 there are no pedicures in that shop that cost $25 per the list. She charged me $45 for halfway done services no hot stone or any other kind of massage advertised as included. She also didn’t even try to prep the nails by getting the dead skin off or cleaning around cuticles as advertised. Worst Salon I have ever been to none of the tools come out of sterile packages they were all just kind of in a dish pushed together with dirty and clean tools.

I forgot to get the women’s name but I’m pretty sure by other reviews it was Nancy that did my pedicure. She did an amazing job and was so fast with my pedicure in the best way. My toes look amazing and what really blew my mind is she called me back to confirm my appointment 30 minutes after I made it, I’ve never had a nail salon call me back once I’ve made an appointment. Overall it was a great experience and I’ll definitely be returning!
