Customer Reviews:
I do not expect to come to a place that calls itself a “day spa” and be told to “just go ahead and wait for your stylist” so many times, when they don’t even have a waiting area…
I’ve sat in the only chair available for waiting clients (besides two awkward uncomfortable bar stools) and waited far too long without a drop of customer service. Not a soul has even looked at me.
I’m currently here for a pedicure and since I’ve been here, I’ve watched two people come and go for haircuts… while I wait. Your staff are apologetic, but this has been my experience here now several times and clearly not an isolated experience.
Ya’ll have everything else right but I will no longer schedule with you, nor recommend you. I’m now sitting here at 30 + minutes and am shocked no one else is saying something. Your clients have too many other things on their calendar to be stuck in an uncomfortable space in the middle of your main thoroughfare to call this place a day spa. Do better.
Tom and Sophie(a)/Sofie(a) great. Massage was great but I was charged for a massage which includes the spa and I did not receive the full amenities purchased. You have to ask your to use the shower and sauna.
In my original post I miss named the technician who DIDN’T do my nails, I apologize to the owners daughter, who l never met.The pedicure was such a waste of money that I didn’t get the manicure. The technician didn’t cut any cuticles, or ever clean around the edges of my nails. I had to ask her to stop scrubbing with the exfoliator because it hurt and my shin was turning red from where she was scrubbing. When I asked her to get the manager the managers first question was “you don’t want any polish”.
The manager is immature, this is heavy money that some of us have saved and spent for these services. To be laughed at twice when the service was less than I could do for myself at home is truly disheartening. Sis was sitting around getting her hair braided my coworkers at the front desk, and then she was sitting alone doing her own nails upstairs while I was getting my pedicure. Really saddened about this horrible service and by the administration. The last time I came here was over 10 years ago and it was the first spa experience I had ever had. This was the worst pedicure I have ever had. Sad that this place isn’t being run at the same level. Also the manager used all of the tip for the services I had prepaid instead of only giving tip on the services “provided”. She tipped $50 to one person for a $96 service. Obviously they are not in touch with the reality of these processes, after being laughed at twice I would rather Tom -an awesome masseuse- get the tip than have to try and speak with this manager person again.
Do better Lilia Hubbard or lower your prices to reflect the product.
In response to the business:
you could address the payment (on my account) or the fact that I didn’t receive a full spa treatment with amenities promised and paid for (in my account) but you chose to drag me on a mis name instead of addressing the things that you could do better as a business.
I did not use any derogatory verbage in any language, I did say che triste – which is how sad. You didn’t site the language so I can only assume that your employees don’t speak the language I was speaking. Please don’t attack me for speaking my native language in a frustrating moment it’s xenophobic behavior based out of ignorance and insecurity that your employees projected another language with bad language.
My temperament as a paying customer was that I didn’t want to make small talk, because I was just made to leave your establishment for 30 minutes oiled up after a massage so that I could come back to your staff who were late from a wedding event and tried to smooth this over with small talk. I had headphones in and the technician was trying to talk through the podcast. That was supposed to be my day off to relax, not nurture the ego of your technician.
Your manager was not off shift she was on shift, but no, it’s not a reassuring feeling to be told to wait by the manager as she is seated getting her hair braided. You are paying her to get her hair braided while I am trying to pay you to get my nails done.
I don’t doubt that you are receiving different accounts from your employees, your recent nail reviews support the unprofessional and expensive but poor quality work. The copious reviews about terrible customer service speak for themselves.
