Today Gem Nails saved my hands! In the morning I had had my nails done in a different place and I hated them! I’ve seen that Gem Nails has recently opened and decided to give them a shot, I drove there almost straight away from my previous appointment. Now I’m very satisfied and the whole Team is so nice that they immediately boosted my mood! Before I’d tried a few different places in Ames, but in terms of quality there’s no place even comparable to Gem Nails! I’m originally from Poland, so I’m used to good quality nails and this is what you can get it Gem Nails! I’m so happy you guys opened up in Ames!!

First time coming here and first off, I LOVE the option to make your appointment online with a text verification! When we (I brought a family friend) got there, they knew what we were there for and got started right away. Lilly did my full acrylic set and she was the SWEETEST! I am so indecisive and she was so patient with me and was great. I also had two tender nails from hangnails and she was so careful and gentle. I am SOOO picky when I get my nails done and even the slightest rough edge or length that’s off will drive me crazy. Lilly took her time making sure my nails were literally perfect. Both of us left with adorable nails that were copied exactly from the Pinterest pics we showed them!
Very happy with our experience and will for sure be coming back!!

Awesome experience! Walked in 10 minutes before my appointment and they were ready for me. Very clean and super cute place, with TONS of colors! Lots of attention to detail and made sure my shape and colors/design were what I wanted. For sure check them out, will be going back! 💅🏼

So impressed by Gem Nails. We walked-in and had no wait. All staff were very kind & detail oriented. I had a very sweet young lady do my pedicure and she took her time with the massages. The facility itself has beautiful, clean, & sharp interior design with the most high tech, yet easy to use massage chairs for the pedicures. They offer a few different packages for pedicures & she handed me a sheet of paper containing the differences between all of them and was very transparent about the price of each. Overall the most impressive nail salon I’ve ever been to.
