I have been coming to Mahina at The Foundry for years. The salon space is welcoming and feels like a safe place from the second you walk in. All the stylists are friendly, smile and make conversation even when you are not their client. I love bringing in photos of what I want my hair to look like – Mahina always takes the time to give you a realistic idea what is achievable and what is not. All the product used smells so good, I want a Foundry perfume. The parking is metered so make sure you as quarter rich for your visits. As vain as it is, getting your hair done can boost your mood and I 10/10 recommend The Foundry to anyone looking for an external pick me up.

I can not recommend Cristy enough. I made a last minute appointment to get my haircut and knew this would be risky for me because I have very wavy/curly. I didn’t even have to beg Cristy to keep my length like I would for most stylists because as soon as I sat in her chair she said “I want to keep the length.” Cristy was so nice and personable and she told me she would trim my bangs longer than normal to give my curls a chance to shrink and if I wanted them shorter I could always come back for a another trim. If I could give 10million stars I would!

Foundry is an amazing salon with excellent service, amazing products, and a cute and cozy atmosphere. I trust Mahina entirely with my hair—she knows exactly how to cut it, how it falls, and what will look best. I love getting my hair colored here! Their balayages and highlights are the best. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming vibe, making you feel right at home. The attention to detail and personalized care is unmatched. Now that I live in New York, I make sure to save my haircuts for when I visit home. Plus, I can buy their fab products through the salon and have them shipped to me for free! The salon itself is a hidden gem in Kailua, beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. Every visit feels like a special treat, leaving me looking and feeling fabulous. Highly recommend!

Mahina really understands what my hair goals are and brings it reality. Her salon is beautiful and conveniently located, everyone is kind and friendly, and all of her products used are great! Foundry has been the staple, go-to spot for all my hair needs. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. Mahina does an incredible job blending my hair color so it looks effortless and lived-in. I can’t recommend her and foundry enough.
