I went in for some crochet twists. Instead of being told there wasn’t enough hair, I was sent home with a half-done hairdo. I didn’t notice until days later, when touching the back of my hair, that something felt off. I returned to the braiding salon to confront the stylist, and she responded that she thought I was “okay” with how my hair looked that day, and she told me I didn’t have enough hair. That is a complete lie. She also pointed to the sign “Pay First, No Refund.” However, after much dialogue back and forth, I was eventually able to get half of my money back.
I DO NOT Recommend this braiding salon.

After reviewing the response from the salon, I see that they also are liars. This picture was taken 3 days after, NOT 3 weeks. It would not have taken me 3 weeks to find this out. The braider’s name was Beatrice. BEWARE. I’m pretty sure if it had been that long a partial refund would not have been returned to me. Sadly, they could not just apologize; instead, they created a fabricated narrative.

Beatrice, is definitely my first choice at First Choice Braiding. She’s braided my hair going on 2 years. She has ALWAYS braided my hair to my complete satisfaction. She’s very friendly, accommodating, and professional. People always want to know “who did your hair”. I’d recommend her service to everyone. She also does my son’s dreads. He’s hard to please, but he loves her work. Thanks Beatrice for always making me look GREAT!

I went in for 4 feed in braids. She didnt listen and put 6 braids, I told her the length I wanted, she gave me the length SHE wanted. Bad customer service! My hair 2days later look like I’ve had them in For a week or so! I do not recommend their services. I’m so upset! Smh money wasted!

This was my first time here and after reading some reviews I was a little skeptical. I booked a 4am appointment and reina did my hair. Very nice and sweet, gentle on my hair and was very thorough with fly aways,etc. the price was very reasonable and her work showed for it. I got small knotless braids and every braid is the same size and the length is correct. I defiantly will be coming back to get her to do my hair. She is also quick and fast at heading down the hair! The shop was also clean and did not have a nasty smell. Everything was well organized and I did feel safe in the atmosphere
