I booked Manicure and Pedicure appointments for myself, my bridesmaids and the mother of the Bride and Mother for the Groom for the day before my New Jersey December 2023 wedding and it really kicked off my wedding weekend to a GREAT start! A lot of folks go to Fancy Nails as their regular nail salon, but I don’t think they realize, the owner, Tracey, LOVES to host Brides and their Bridal Parties. She goes out of her way to book the entire salon out for you for as long as you need it! She encourages you to bring drinks and food. (We brought breakfast and champagne), she handed us the aux cord and made sure I was treated like a princess all morning! Tracey and her team really went above and beyond making sure me and my girls were all pampered and we left the salon feeling refreshed and wedding ready! It’s a special touch that I recommend to all NEW JERSEY brides to set up the week of their wedding with their bridal party to set the right happy mood for your wedding day!

I’m new to the area and desperately needed to get my nails done. After reading many reviews, I decided to try Fancy Nails. I was worried since I didn’t have an appointment but decided to walk in anyways. I was kindly greeted and didn’t have to wait. Nancy did my nails and was wonderful! She took her time and they turned out great! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, I have definitely found my new nail salon and nail tech!

Let me first say, this is one of the friendliest salons I have ever been to. But the work that they do, and now I have seen from other reviews is pretty consistently awful. I got a dip full set one week ago. The clear coat isn’t fully done. Two days ago, one of my nails broke in half. I let that go, today i noticed, half of them are hanging on by a thread.
The coffin shape is damn near non existent😔, and they were crooked and bulgy. I wanted to like this place so bad because of the atmosphere but unfortunately the quality and/or materials they are using, since they only do dip now, is unacceptable. They did offer to fix them, but as a mother and business owner myself, I have very little time to get someone else’s mistakes corrected. No refund, even partial is available so $70 down the toilet.

I have tried this place several times for dip powder, attempting the coffin shape. Every time it was not even so I tried 3 different people. Tyler was super patient and really tried but when he could not get it he recommended I go to Tracy. I went to her today and it will be my last time at Fancy Nails. My nails are crooked but she kept insisting they were perfect and then charged an extra $5 because the coffin shape is “hard” (I have never been charged this before). The final straw was she told me they don’t want to do my nails anymore and I stressed Tyler out. It is a nail salon, if you cannot do nails, I am not sure how that is my fault. Good thing the feeling is mutual and I will not return.

As a walk-in I was fortunate that Cindy had a cancellation for a manicure. I wasn’t sure what color I wanted other than saying a vague ‘mauve’. Cindy brought over four different similar colors and showed me each from the bottle. The last one was exactly what I was hoping for. She was both kind and efficient. I will definitely returning to Fancy Nails and Cindy!
