In all honesty, I had reservations due to the mixed reviews, but I decided to take a chance. Having recently relocated to the area, my initial experience at Nails of Alex left me unimpressed. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly greeted by a very friendly individual. Louis, my nail technician, initially came across as reserved and serious, but as we engaged in conversation and shared some lighthearted moments, his warm and humorous personality emerged. I rate my experience a perfect 10 out of 10. Although the pictures I took do not fully capture the quality of his work, I am thoroughly satisfied and will undoubtedly return for future services. It is worth noting that Louis had to rectify the previous work done by Nails of Alex.

I read some reviews and thought I’d give this place a shot because I wanted to spoil myself. It seemed kind of hit or miss but I was like hey why not.

The phone call was hardly audible and I was left unsure if I had an appointment set.
I asked for a manicure and acrylic…
I’ve never had my nails done and was just told to go after getting there.
The man I was assigned was rude, ignored me mostly, and rushed me.
The nails don’t fit and were not filled out correctly.
He never even touched my cuticles.
I just went with it because I was uncomfortable.
He never asked me if I wanted any other designs or anything… I did.
He just left after my nails were dried and I was confused and just stood there for a while before just going to the front.
Half of the nails are crooked.
It was $55…

The service from the nail artist I had was horrible. I’m sure that the other ones are nicer, as the other customers in the place were chatting and joking with one of them. I left feeling even worse than when I went.

Trying to be positive… the place was cute and quiet… except I could find every stain and rickety piece of furniture and the TV nearest me was glitching the entire time.

Very disappointing when you call to make an appointment and then they tell you in the middle of your pedi that you don’t have time now to do both services (mani) when I already had to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time! Not the first time this has happened. He told me I’d have to come back a different day. Refused to do a design on the one toe I requested. This is the Owner. Sitting while I wait for my toes to dry and nobody in here for 5 minutes!?! Just being LAZY. Sad my regular nail artist Allie isn’t here today. She is awesome!!! Will have to go elsewhere.

I just moved to the area & I got my nails done here a week & 1 day ago. Every single one of my dip powder nails have lifted up in the corners! I’ve gotten my nails done with dip powder for 3 years straight now and I’ve never ever had my nails do that! Dip powder always lasts 3-4 weeks for me. The gal who did my nails name was Allie I believe. She took 2 smoke breaks in the middle of doing my nails. Very unprofessional and gross. My nails took 1 1/2 hours. Typically when I get dip powder done it takes 45 minutes to an hour! Definitely not going here again.

Just absolutely fabulous! Quick service, good prices, quality service!!! The owner is very nice and stayed open longer for quality service!!! 4 people received services and all were awesome! A shout out to Anna for being super beyond fabulous (my mom loves her).
