Love their new paper shopping bags! My cashier was so nice. She held the door for me to get outside with my cart. She came to my cart and checked me out quickly.

Since they remodeled this store it has a lot more stuff and it’s better quality. The prices are good too. I used to drive to Dollar General even though Family Dollar is only a block from my house. Now I don’t have to do that.

I stopped by to pick up a few things needed at the house, but as I was getting out of the car I noticed the lady exiting the store did not have on a mask and when I entered the store I noticed the girls at checkout did not have on mask but I thought well they have those plastic shields so I guess that’s ok. Then I walked down the aisle turned the corner and 4 people were working stocking shelves one of them had a mask on properly, one had a mask under his chin, and the other 2 did not have a mask on at all. This county has one of the highest percapita rates of Covid 19 in North Carolina and Candor has the 2nd rate in the County needles to as as someone who meets 3 of the criteria for being at risk for a severe reaction I did not feel comfortable. So I turned around and left. I doubt I will ever go back.
