It was really my mistake for going to a badly reviewed nail salon in a bad neighborhood but it was genuinely the worst nail experience I’ve ever had. One person kind of speaks English. She didn’t understand me when I said I didn’t want to soak my acrylics off and wanted them popped off. I was left alone to soak for 30 minutes while she did someone’s pedicure. She never came back. Two other people came throughout my time to drill acrylic off and soak more. I had been there an hour and all I had done was soak my fingers in acetone when I didn’t even want to soak them to begin with. After the man told me to put them back in the acetone after an hour I told him no, he insisted, I got up, nails looking disgusting, gave the woman at the front $20, she asked if I wanted her to file them, I said no, she tried giving me $10 back and I said no and left. There’s a reason I usually drive 30 minutes out of this neighborhood to get my nails done. I thought this would be simple and easy and it turned into a hour long ordeal it didn’t need to be. I highly recommend Nails & Lashes KC on Cookingham Drive – the customer service is worth the drive.

I love Express Nails! Natalie and Tracy are the ONLY techs I trust with my claws. The customer service is top tier. I recommend booking an appointment so that you can get right in the chair. I haven’t gotten my brows waxed, nor lashes done but the ladies look fabulous when leaving the shop. 10/10 highly recommend!

I went in on 6/21/24 for a pedicure. The older dude was who I got. He cut my cuticles so low they bled. I asked him not to massage my legs, and he didn’t. When I got ready to pay,, I was shocked… $50! $50! I’m not cheap by any means, but that was one overpriced pedicure. You know if they offered a cold bottle of water or something besides bleeding cuticles, maybe. I won’t go back.

I decided to come here from previous good experience I’ve had in the past! I instantly regretted it after my feet soaked in water for 15 minutes prior to the pedi. The last I knew pedis were supposed to be relaxing and this was NOT!!! He massaged my feet with his knuckles , massaged the scrub super hard , cut my toe and did a crappy job! After I mentioned how rough he was being it was almost as he had did it more intentionally on top of I don’t know how many breaks he took as well as rushing! The cost of $55 each for me and my daughter was NOT worth it . I won’t be back here

I got a gel manicure for $45 here. I was the only client in the whole shop and the man doing my nails was going so fast he cut me while removing my cuticles. It was so bad he had to put something on it to stop the bleeding. Then the same night I got my nails done my thumb nail chipped. I had gel nail polish on almost all of my fingers as well. I had to pick it all off.
