My husband came by to make an appt and the lady stated that if he could come back in an hour she could do his braids today. We were sitting outside in the car when all of a sudden she came out locked the door and left. It was only 5:15 pm and the store does not close until 7pm….we actually sat there another 45 mins until 6 thinking maybe she ran for food. She never returned!! Also when my husband tried to call he was sent to voicemail after one ring and the mailbox was full. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

I got the butterfly locks medium size mid-back length.

Pros: Etta is very kind. I needed my hair done as soon as possible due to upcoming celebrations. She found a way to put me in her schedule the same day! She gave me a 1 hour time frame to be there. When I came, she delivered the service in 3hours. She told me she could finish in 2-3hrs despite expecting another scheduled appointment that day right after me. She even postponed on eating her warm lunch until she has delivered the service as promised. She helped me out thay day with a discount as well. She has a big heart. It is hard to find out there. She is a person of words. She took good care of my scalp.

Cons: That being said, Objectively talking, I think my braids are wayyy too thick at the end and some are way too uneven size wise. It is not a bad work per se, but not the best butterfly locks either that day for the price. (I have seen friends with natural locks with the same hairstyle.) This is the only reason for my 3 stars.

That being said, she did it for me last minute and under time pressure. It was my first time with her. So, don’t judge based on this stand-alone comment. Try for yourself. I have yet to try another style there to see more of her works, maybe this time after planning on my side. This factor might impact the quality of her work more positively.

She was so friendly and located in a spot i was already familiar with. Lots to choose from also! I purchased several wigs from Etta that are priced well and good qaulity. In the below pic I am getting a full sew in with leave out on top. She’s a gentle braider and very good with managing her time between clients. I absolutely loved my hair and We love Etta too!!👌🏽🙏🏽💇🏽

Etta takes such good care of me. She’s kind. She’s fast. She makes me laugh and my braids always look perfect. You’re mad you can’t get in? Book earlier. She’s busy because she’s GOOD. Good hair, good heart, good human

Etta is awesome and always does my hair the way I like it! My appointment starts right on time, you won’t have to worry about waiting and she does not multitask on other people’s hair while also doing yours!! I’m in and out!
