Essential nail bar has been my go to place since it opened! I have gotten almost every nail service (acrylic, dip, gel, etc.) and they always turn out perfect! I have been to many different people over the years and they are all so talented. This is the one place I go because I know it will always turn out how I want no matter what I’m having done or who does it. The service is top tier as well. Everyone is so professional and kind. 5 stars from me!!

Essential Nail Bar is the best! I personally see Nancy, but everyone on the staff is super talented and are masters at their craft, and they always make you feel right at home. The welcoming environment, combined with their exceptional service, makes every visit a pleasure. I highly recommend this place for all your nail care needs!

I love this Nail Bar. I’ve been coming here for about two years now. Everyone is very nice and pleasant. My appointment is always on schedule. You’ll have a choice of a free beverage (water, sparkling water or wine). Most days it’s very quiet and chill but it’s always comfortable. The only con I have is the bar stools can be a little tricky to sit in and there’s no place to put your purse except on your lap or the floor, so I usually carry a small crossbody bag. They do take walk ins but good luck with that because they are always fully booked. I usually have to book my appointment online 2 weeks ahead of time. Also, Make sure you sign in for the square points. They add up and you can use them for a discount towards your service. Anyway, long story short I highly recommend this place.

I have had the pleasure of going to Essentials since they opened and can honestly say after 20+ years of getting my nails done in Birmingham there is no nail salon in the surrounding area that even comes close.
Their services are 10/10, their manicures and pedicures (dip, gel, regular, acrylic, nail art no nail art, I think I have tried it all) are 10/10, and their staff is 1,000,000/10.
I go every 2 weeks like clockwork, recommend them to anyone who will listen to me, and insisted there was no where else I would take my best friend when she needed her nails done for her wedding day. Even though they are by appointment, they always make time for me when I inevitably break a nail before a business trip, and as long as they are around, there is nowhere else I will be going!
No star rating is high enough, if you haven’t had a chance to check them out I HIGHLY recommend it.

I’ve been going to Essential for years for my maintenance needs. It’s the best nail salon in the area. Very clean, professional and quick! I’ve never had an issue with quality, my nails always last til the next appointment. I also like the relationship I’ve developed with Nancy and Mindy over the years. These two nail techs are warm, welcoming and never miss a detail. Outside of how much I enjoy visiting Essential for my needs, you can beat the area. It’s perfect for a good ole “me time” shops, restaurant and perfect for nice walks.
