I came here because the place I typically go was booked. I had never had gel polish and was reassured that it was durable and worth the extra $10 for mani and $10 for pedi. I am so disappointed to have two big chips in the topcoat/top color layer of my big toenail and a small chip in my thumbnail after less than 48 hours. I rarely get my nails done; this was a special treat for the holidays. However, when I do get my toes done with regular polish, they typically last me 2-3 weeks without chips. I didn’t do any manual labor the last two days, or anything other than dishes and showering that could’ve contributed to the polish wearing poorly. The overall experience at the salon was less than comfortable and relaxing, but I could’ve lived with that for the sake of an end result that actually lasted. I won’t spend my money here again.

Hands down, best nail salon in Altoona. I’ve tried almost all nail salons around here over the years and once I started coming here I never went back anywhere else. Not only are their prices fair, the nail techs are extremely personal and sweet! I came in around 10AM for a manicure and pedicure and while I had my pedicure being done someone else was simultaneously doing my manicure! I was SO relaxed and felt like a princess. My nails look gorgeous and I was done in an hour and a half which is insanely good timing for a popular and busy salon to do a mani/pedi!! Pictures attached of my latest experience.

I went here for a pedicure for my first time ever and it was quite pleasant, very nice, the foot soak was perfect, I just got the basic pedicure package. Which was magnificent. The staff seem quite pleasant and nice. I definitely will return. The hot wax was my favorite part, they oil the legs. And lotion them as well.

absolutely AWFUL! i have been going here for years and have had nothing but bad experiences the last couple of times that i went. last week i went for a gel pedicure and had 3 of the polish on my toe nails fall of that same day. and then 3 more have fallen off since then. when i called and asked if i could get a color change because obviously something has to be wrong with the color, she told me i had to pay $30. i said that i would not be paying $30 for a color change since the gel polish falling off was not my fault, she then proceeded to call me cheap over the phone since i didn’t want to pay.

This has got to be the rudest place ever! I had a pedicure & I asked if he could cut them a bit shorter. Well you would’ve thought I had asked for the moon! He said no can do & picked up his utensils & ran off somewhere. Another worker asked me if I had an appt. I did, but what does that have to do w/ requesting my nails be cut shorter. This is 3rd time something has happened. Last time the health inspector came in & the lady who was working on my feet grabbed her stuff & ran off & never came back. I finally had to alert someone that I was still waiting for her to ffinish.today as I was checking out, I asked the cashier why they are all so rude. Of course, he wasn’t much better.
Needless to say, I won’t waste my money at this place again.
