After reading the reviews, I thought this would be a good place. The recent reviews were all good, except for one. The woman that left the bad review left a picture of a terribly painted nail with the skin roughed up all around it. I thought there’s no way that picture could be real. But it absolutely was because that’s how my nails looked when I left that place. I had an older woman who did my pedicure and I asked her three times to please address my heels, but she didn’t. I kept thinking she would do it at the next step, and the next step but finally she was finished, and she still had not addressed my heels at all. So I asked her to please work on my heels, and she acted like it was a problem. After I was through with that I was passed off to another older woman to do my Manicure. Out of my 10 fingers six of them ended up getting my cuticles hacked to the point they were bleeding. She also kept losing control of the filing Dremel and since I’m on that subject, she sanded my nails out so thin when she lost control of the Dremel for the umpteeth time it actually broke one of my natural nails. she put some superglue on it and told me it would hold. She went on to polish my nails. I had so many rough spots where the gel polish cured with drips and lumps. My bill was almost $140. I left and had to go right down the street to do a little shopping. Of course, in the light I realized how horrible my nails actually are. My thumbnail is not only crooked, but it’s wavy. And, the nail she fixed was not fixed at all. It was actually broken again. I also noticed that a couple of my fingers the polish had not cured properly, so the polish was dull. I went back to the shop and let the person at the counter know I had issues with both my manicure and pedicure. The only thing she did was have the same lady that did my manicure fix the nail she broke and repaint them. And she “fixed” my broken nail by putting a thick, thick layer of acrylic over it. She also filed all of the skin around the tip of my finger till it was almost raw. Since the nail was broken, it was not even when she put the acrylic on. I ended up having to file my nail off underneath the acrylic because it was catching on my hair when I tried to wash my hair. The lady did use a different UV lamp and went on to tell me that the one she used the originally did not have a good bulb in it. My visit to this salon was so disappointing and expensive.

Best experience I’ve had in a shop in a looong time. The entire staff is friendly and all the girls are truly artists. Thanks so much. I’ve definitely found a new home! My first time here and have not had a pedicure in forever. Great salon, very nice, very clean. Destiney was so patient, thorough, professional and kind. I loved it and I will be back.

Diane gave me one of the best pedicures that I’ve ever had. Top notch nail salon! Great prices and friendly staff. I was traveling from Minnesota and stopped in for some pampering. Very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.

Stephany has been doing my nails for over a year now and I have never left disappointed. She always does exactly what I am looking for and is truly talented! I will always recommend Em Nails. Thank you Steph for your hard work 🙂
