Even though I was completely disappointed with the overall service & experience provided, I had initially avoided writing a review because I knew this would be the first and last time going here. I came in with a group for a wedding. I was annoyed that I had to ask repeatedly for the water temperature to be warmer. Even the grandmother of the bride was soaking her feet in cold water. It was cold! The man who was taking care of me knew English better than the other technicians. He understood the request and turned it on hot. I had to tell him to turn the water off because it was one extreme to the other. I paid full price for a pedicure with no polish. He painfully scrubbed the tops of my feet with a nail brush and clipped my nails. Nothing else. I asked for gel coat nails as a manicure. Half way through painting my nails he asked if I wanted 2 coats or 3. I’ve never been asked that question and didn’t understand. At this point, I was fed up with the overall service and just wanted him to finish so I could leave. I paid $91 for a manicure gel and pedicure no polish. The cuticles were never cut back. Just curious what I paid for because I could have just done this myself and done a better job. The polish was uneven. My polish started chipping a week later. The man had no idea what he was doing. He admitted that he got the job because someone he knows hired him. He moved to South Carolina from China 3 years ago. I should have known better that he was going to rip me off when he told me that he wished he could vote because he hates Trump. To each their own when it comes to politics, but I find it interesting that a man escaped a communist country only to treat me like I’m stupid.

I came in for a simple soak-off. 1) was asked multiple times if I wanted to get a new set/manicure, etc. after repeatedly saying no, just a soak off. 2) see the pictures, this man tried his hardest to soak my nails off the fastest he could and in the end was drilling my NATURAL nail bed to SHREDS. Look at how my nails look the next day. They hurt with any sort of pressure or under any running water. Ridiculous. 3) they increased the soak off price from $10 to $15 – for what? They don’t even do the process the right way!!! Finding the quickest way to do a simple service so frustrating. 4) one nail tech who knew me was asking me how I was when I was at the register, and the receptionist rudely interrupted me twice to ask for my phone number while I was in the middle of speaking to the tech who literally was asking me a question to answer… what in the world. DK used to be my place to go and I already found a new salon I had been going to the past 6 months… I only went back to DK for my soak off, and they couldn’t even do that right. Never returning.

**to clarify, I did not have red polish on… the red on my nails is due to his drilling.

I’ve been to DK nails twice and both times were amazing! The first time I got a gel pedicure done by Tin which was AWESOME! The massage chairs are great, and they are so kind at all times! Today I got acrylic nails and gel done by Danny and they turned out PERFECT! I got an almond shape and a gorgeous purple! Would absolutely recommend coming here, and I’ll definitely be back soon!

Beautiful nail spa. My wife loved it. I booked her an appointment for a pedicure and to get her toes and nails painted. I sat with my wife while she was getting her pedicure and even though I hadn’t booked any services for myself they still brought me a drink and turned on a massage chair for me to sit in while I waited. Our stylist was Tyrone. He was very quiet but extremely good at his job. Which was perfect because my wife is very shy.

Dk Nails & Spa did an amazing job with my nails! The salon was clean and had a great atmosphere. I noticed there were a lot of returning customers, which is always a good sign as well
