Nearing the end she’s going to ask if I want cuticle oil? Last I checked cuticle oil and moisturizer are apart of a nail service unless the customer declines.
We get to the counter and originally the set was $55 and she was charging $10 for medium nails. So the total would be $80, I said something about it. I asked you if it was short and you said yes it was. She’s just looking at me and so I repeat myself. She turns around to speak to the owner and another female, Lynn, chimes in and says whatever in their native language.
She now adjusts the full set to $60 and then charges for short nails, so that the total could still be $80.
She tells me she made a mistake with the $55.
This establishment is here to cater to a certain class of individuals.
To say the line work has issues, some nails are leaning and I had to ask her more than once to fix it, to charge me $80 is ridiculous. You don’t carry colors to accommodate my complexion and what you’re charging doesn’t match the prices you’re advertising.
I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone I know of similar complexion.
Edit: I also notice unless you’re giving the business a review of complete satisfaction, the owner doesn’t even acknowledge your review. As far as their concerned it’s fine if a few people have a bad experience because there’s others that didn’t.
However, I’ve received services for my natural nails twice and within a few days the service will be defective. The first time, I did SNS which was detailed and looked great in the end but I immediately noticed chipping. Most recently, I did a gel manicure service and my polished started cracking and flaking off (see pics attached).
My pedicures have always been great and when I went in for a waxing service I mentioned the issue with my SNS. The owner did agree to redo my service but I didn’t have time to return unfortunately. I’m not sure what it is. It’s sad that this has been the outcome but I will continue to service Devinn because I’ve been the most happiest with their overall service since I’ve moved to the area.
