Customer Says:
2 hours later I return to pay, my daughter isn’t done and the way she looked at me, I knew something was wrong. The length of her nails weren’t what she wanted. I asked the tech why did she not follow my directives after she stated she understood. She stated “in 2 days they would break at that length”. IMPOSSIBLE! I have friends and family that have longer length. She was rushing because she was behind. The entire ordeal was justified by her and management. Yeah we got a 20% discount but had to go somewhere else to get her nails what she wanted because Jenny couldn’t get it right.
This establishment does great work. But beware of Jenny “the tech by the door”. She don’t know what she’s doing, doesn’t follow directions and tries to justify her wrong doings. If you have minor children that don’t like confrontation like I do, stay the entire appointment because obviously, they take advantage of it. If I could rate Jenny a negative 50 I would. And Management justifying. Bad taste Cosmo, bad taste. Do better.
At our appointment time, we were sat next to each other for in pedicure chairs. My tech was an older lady – who did not understand much English and required assistance from other workers for translation. That is perfectly fine but she did not understand when I told her the water was scalding hot, and she kept forcing my feet in the water. Eventually another tech translated and she was able to put some cold water in the bin.
From there on out the only words I can describe my pedicure was abusive. Every part of the hour hurt in some way. The tech filed my nails but mostly my skin. Cuticle pushers dug into my nail beds. My skin was beat red after taking out of the water. Her method of massage was using her nails to dig into my skin through the latex gloves. She attempted to pop my toes and I finally had to kick and give her a look of “no”. The whole time I just kept hoping it would end cause it was unpleasant. When she started beating on my heels— I was more concerned the same would happen to my kid and mama bear would appear.
Thankfully it was just me.. but that lady needs to tone down her roughness. I realize it’s about the tech you get— but being hit while being massaged by a chair is not relaxing. I think her name was Lilly— and I hope management talks with her.
