Cosmo Nail Lounge in Louisville, KY

I came in an hour before closing and got a pedicure. The lady was very nice and asked me if I wanted to get my nails done, I was okay with doing them the next day if they didn’t have time and didn’t want them to rush to do them but she was very sincere and told me they could do a manicure for me. Both turned out great!! Best experience I had trying to find a place to get my nails done since I’m from out of state, will definitely be coming back! Very friendly and understanding since I was under a little stress to get ready for a concert back home! Huge life saver!

Highly disappointed. Came here based off the amazing reviews for a pedicure and a full set of acrylic. The pedicure was probably one of the best and the man was so gentle. The lady who did my nails was a whole other story. The nails were not the same length so I asked if all the nails could be the same length (the shorter length to match the off nail was completely fine) then all (including the one that was already too short) of the nails got filed. This happened multiple times. I was going to just accept the differences until I saw that the original too-short-nail was a literal numb (the file was rubbing against the top of my finger while the others had a small tip). Another stylist saw I was upset and advised me to speak to management. I spoke to my stylist that I wasn’t comfortable continuing as it wasn’t what I wanted. Then she argued with me that I wanted it that length (I wanted it to just be even and decent looking) and she wanted to take the nails off (it was only acrylic barely shaped). She started using the fingernail clippers to shorten nails as much as she could. I told her I didn’t have time for a soak off (I had work in 10 minutes) and she said okay and started filing the nails. The gentleman with her grabbed the bowls and I reiterated that I had work and wasn’t sure if I had time. I asked if it would take 10 minutes and she told me no 30. I told her again I can’t, I have to leave for work. She proceeded to take the fingernail clippers and cut into my fingernails (perpendicular with my nail). Someone working behind me offered to do my nails tomorrow at a discounted rate and gave a rough file so the nails wouldn’t be sharp. However, the acrylic is cracking and falling off where the stylist cut into my nails and it’s showing where I am cut and where my natural nail is destroyed. Listen, I’ve been searching high and low for a clean, new, nice nail salon since I moved to Louisville 2 years ago. And I found it here! I beyond highly recommend this place. They take walk-ins and are so kind, willing to do anything! My expectations were surpassed! Go get your holiday nails 💅

I chose Cosmo based purely on the reviews. I’ve been a nail biter all my life and have finally broken the habit. This was my first manicure and I had no idea what to do. Miki took great care of me, answered every question I had, and was a joy to converse with during the process. Plus, my nails? Absolutely stunning. I will absolutely be back.

This was my first time going here. I live in the neighborhood, and decided to try it out. The salon is very clean and bright. Everyone was nice and helpful. They had at least 10 people working. I had an appointment, but seems even a walk in wouldn’t be that long of a wait with that many people working. My only complaint is I was charged $5.00 extra dollars for a “long nail service”, and I consider my nails to be average length. I have never been charged that at any other salon, and I get the same length each time. I will definitely be returning. 😁
