If you’re looking for the definition of a chop shop nail salon, you’ve found the right place! Went in last night for an acrylic full set and was met with horrible customer service, dirty salon conditions and a poor quality set of nails that was absolutely not worth the price.

As I was sitting down to get my nails done, I noticed how unsanitary everything looked. There’s old, discolored nail polish on display at the front desk to greet you. The cuticle oil was foggy and left open at every desk and the nail product display on the desks are covered in nail dust and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. On top of the overall contaminated look of everything, I watched the woman doing my nails put a used nail file into a dusty box of other used nail files and stow it back under the nail desk for later use and the drill bits she used were noticeablely darkened with build up and had used disposable covers on them 🤮

Before I started my service, I showed her a reference picture of what I wanted and asked if she could recommend me a base color that closely matched the picture. She rolled her eyes at me and told me she didn’t know and wouldn’t help me pick one. So I picked what I thought was the closest shade and was then told to pick a different color because it was too light.

She was absolutely in a rush and went through my set as quickly as possible. She took a drill bit to my cuticles and absolutely shredded them. I was picking off bits of acrylic that she had gotten all over my skin after the service. Some of my nails are misshapen and the work is shoddy. I wasn’t even done with my nails before she left me in the lamp to go assist another customer and never came back.

Since she went to work on someone else, I wasn’t able to immediately tell her that I wasn’t happy with the color and wanted a change, however, I was still in the salon and hadn’t left when I informed her that I would like a color change and was told it would be an extra $15. I told her I just wanted the whole set removed and was told it would be $10 on top of what the set cost.

I had called ahead to book and was told the price was $45 for the service I received. Since I added some length, she informed me that would be an additional $5. No problem. As I was checking out, she tried to add an additional $5 on top of the extra $5 she had already added on to the full cost and argued with me about the price. She eventually dropped it and agreed to what she had quoted me but after everything else that had happened, this was the cherry on top.

Save your time and spend your hard earned money somewhere that deserves it!

Don’t do it! I thought it was one of the best pedicures I’ve had. And then I woke up the next day with these pimple/boils all over my legs. I didn’t shave before I went and I hadn’t changed anything about my skin routine until this pedicure. I don’t have sensitive skin or any allergies that could’ve caused this, it had to be from the salon. When they trimmed the sides of my big toe that are prone to ingrown nails, I don’t believe the instrument was clean, as my toe is also swollen and shows other signs of being infected. These pictures are from today, 5 days after I went to the salon. My toes are shown next to each other and it’s clear the left one is irritated and possibly infected.

New favorite dip place! Kelly (I think that’s her name) was absolutely amazing. Took her time, did a fantastic job! Well worth 10 stars if I could!

The people who work here were nice, but they were extremely slow. Unfortunately, I’ve been dealing with some kind of infection (paronychia) in my big toe since I got a pedicure here. It’s been nearly 4 weeks and it hasn’t gone away so I’m finally getting in to the doctor in a few days. I won’t be returning here, personally. 😭
