I have lived in Brookings for 20+ years. So I have tried and been to every salon and nail technician in town. At Brookings Nails they are qualified, patient and priced for the area appropriately. I love going in there. James is so nice. I got a Vietnamese language lesson today.

Got a full set. The experience was great! Super nice and friendly. No one tried to sell me on more stuff or tell me my idea was bad. He made it work and it’s gorgeous!

The lost star is for quality. After spending 80$ I expect my nails to last at minimum 2 weeks if not longer. However my nails started chipping and lifting same day. Sadly I was visiting so I can’t go back to fix it.

Also normally when I get full set at home that includes things like cuticle trimming and cleanup. This place did not do that. But maybe that’s not a standard everywhere so that’s not a big deal.

Fantastic pedicure the experience is first class. The manicure is impressive and they have so many ways and options to enhance the colors. Always very friendly and great customer service. Live brookings Nails.

I absolutely love Brookings Nails and Spa!! Went there after a little over a year of not having my nails done and James and his wife were so amazing to my friend and I. There was a little bit of a wait but that’s to be expected with a busy business, I always show up at least 30 mins early too though.

Most awkward pedicure I have ever had (and I am not new to pedicures) from having some weird battle with the man doing my nails that my daughter didn’t need a soda, (even though my daughter said she wanted a water several times) he got up and kept getting another soda and even made me take it home, running after us telling us to keep it when we left it on the chair (unopened) to having him keep telling me he couldn’t do my daughters toes because she wouldn’t let him clip them, I asked to have them filed and he flat out said no, I am not going to do that if she won’t let me clip them. Thankfully a kind woman took over for my daughter, but this man’s customer service demeanor was a mix between authoritarian and rudeness. I told him that how he was handling my foot was too rough (legit pinching my toe as hard as he could) and he said if you are not bleeding you are fine. I said my water is ice cold, he told me that no I did turn on the hot your water is hot (which it wasn’t) when I asked how much a design was he told me 3 different prices. Very awkward massage that I do not wish to go into detail with. I could not wait to get out of that chair. Like I said very awkward, made me extremely uncomfortable wanting to run out the door as fast as I could. Will not go back, the women in the salon were very kind but this young man with the orange I would steer clear from.
